Shabbat Shalom.  24 Teves is the Hillula - Yortzeit of the founder of Chabad, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi.  The Alter Rebbe said that at the young age of five years old he already understood that every Jew has two souls. The G-dly soul and the Animalistic soul.  A while later he concluded the difference: The essence and personality of the G-dly soul is to seek the truth. Torah and Mitzvot and good character.  The essence and personality of the Animalistic soul is that it is a liar who only seeks bodily pleasure. It tries to convince a person to live a life of materialism and vanity.    Later the Alter Rebbe concluded that we each have a third soul. The Soul of Inelegance.
