Motivation Destiny & Challenges
Hi
Wishing you Gut Shabbos. Shabbat Shalom
Candle Lighting January 1 - 17 Teves NY Metro 4:18pm
Did you ever wonder: What does it mean to bless G-d? Does He need anything? What can we give Him which He does not have?
Chabad philosophy explains that the Creator voluntarily chose to need your input in order to achieve His plan of creation.
Only you alone can chose to welcome the Creator as a partner in your personal life. If the Creator only forces His way in to your life then His goal is not achieved.
The first two Hebrew words of almost all blessings is “Boruch Atah. Blessed are you. “ The word “You” refers to the pure essence of the Creator. To “Bless” means to draw down. To bring it down to our level. To welcome our loving Father in Heaven into our worldly reality.
Adam and Eve were given the most incredible gift of importance, significance and meaning: Their behavior and the behavior of their offspring, will enable the Creator to achieve His goal and His plan of creation!
When you Bless G-d before you eat any food, you are drawing down G-d’s presence into your physical reality. You and your food and everything which was involved in the food supply chain, are now infused with a dose of new Divine energy and revelation.
This is the goal of creation. Moshiach. To infuse our world with a higher reality. By enjoying life in accordance with Torah, we are harmonizing G-d and our physical reality. A symphony of Divine music.
Yes. You can Bless G-d! He chose to need you!
Your words cause G-d to have great pleasure! The world needs you to sing your song! Your blessings are G-d’s treasure! We all need you!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) You have infinite more potential then you are using now. A droplet of water can reflect the ocean. Recognize that you are an ambassador of G-d and now you can maximize your infinite potential.
2) The purpose of crushing an olive is to produce fine oil. When you encounter a challenge look to discover your own precious new “oil”.
3) The 17 best years of Jacob were in Egypt. Because only in Egypt did Jacob prove that despite the immorality of Egypt and it’s powerful culture, the Jew stands strong as a beacon of light. Transforming “Egypt” and the challenges of life into a garden of Divine plantings. It’s in your DNA! Be a Jacob!
