When freedom is taken from a person it can break the spirit of a person.  In 1927 the Previous Rebbe fearlessly risked his life to save and preserve Torah Judaism in the former Soviet Union. On the 3rd day of Tamuz he was miraculously saved from execution. Nine days later, on the 12th day of Tammuz while he was in his exile city of Kostrama, the Previous Rebbe was notified that he is miraculously totally freed from the 3 year sentence of exile.
