Freedom Relationships & Happiness

Freedom is one of the deepest desires of a person. When freedom is taken from a person it can break the spirit of a person.

In 1927 the Previous Rebbe fearlessly risked his life to save and preserve Torah Judaism in the former Soviet Union. On the 3rd day of Tamuz he was miraculously saved from execution.

Nine days later, on the 12th day of Tammuz while he was in his exile city of Kostrama, the Previous Rebbe was notified that he is miraculously totally freed from the 3 year sentence of exile. The official liberation papers were issued and given on the following day. The 13th of Tammuz.

In Lekutei Torah -Bolok- the Alter Rebbe explains why our soul was sent down into this world. Despite that is painful for the soul to come into a physical world where sin exists. This is an exile for our soul.

As long as our soul was in Heaven, our relationship with G-d was limited to spiritual holy thought. But in our physical world, since we do Mitzvahs which are the will of the essence of G-d, therefore we become united and have a relationship with G-d on His deepest level. Not just on the level of thought which is lower then the essence of G-d. We unite as one with G-d himself.

The Previous Rebbe courageously risked his life so that even a young Jewish child can learn the Alef Bet, study Torah, do a Mitzvah and never be disconnected from Jewish heritage.
Single-handedly the Previous Rebbe established the only network of underground Torah schools across the vast Soviet Union. Even now close to 100 years later, the fruits of these heroic efforts are visible for all to see.

The Previous Rebbe loved every Jew unconditionally. Many Chabad Lubavitch Chassidim volunteered and sacrificed their life in order to keep the flame of Judaism alive, shining brightly even in the darkest situations. The flame of Torah continues to shine brightly to this very day.

There is nothing sweeter then a good relationship. Our loving Father in Heaven is waiting for us to reciprocate and show Him our love for Him. We must be willing to go out of comfort zone in order to do help a fellow Jew and do an additional Mitzvah.

The true definition of life is not just to exist. Animals also exist. As a human being blessed with a Divine soul we want to live a life of meaning. A life of Torah and Mitzvah. To live a life which makes a difference and helps transform the world into a better and kinder place.  A life which lives on forever, for all eternity.

This gives us motivation and inspiration:

You are blessed with the freedom to choose to define your life with purpose and meaning, with goodness and kindness. To love every one of our Jewish brothers and sisters unconditionally. To give a helping hand. To give a hug of love and support. To ensure that every Jewish child receives a happy and proud Torah education.
Only when you do the will of others just because it is important to them, do you create a deep lasting bond and relationship. It’s not sufficient to only do the things which logically make sense. A true deep relationship is measured by doing for others the things that are not logical to you but they are important to the other. This is a key to happy relationships.

You can choose to have a deep and eternal relationship with Hashem. Every Mitzvah you do creates an eternal bond. Essence to essence. You and G-d. You can transform your limited physical existence into an eternal existence of Torah and Mitzvah. You can give G-d a hug and you will receive an eternal hug of love and blessing from our Father in Heaven.

It is our responsibility to share with the young generation the story of the heroic sacrifice of the Previous Rebbe. How he fearlessly stood up to the powerful Russian regime in order to protect Torah Judaism and Jewish children. We must show the young generation how to enjoy the gift of our 3300 years of Jewish heritage and Jewish tradition.

Be a Lamplighter. Be a leader. Help your fellow Jew ignite their soul and you will be blessed with a life of joy and happiness.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) If a person wants to focus exclusively on their own spirituality, on their own growth, without thinking of others, they must always remember that our soul came down to the physical world for a purpose and a mission  to help another Jew. The deepest pleasure for G-d is for you to go out of your comfort zone and be victorious over the forces of darkness in our world. We achieve this by illuminating the world with the light of Torah and Mitzvah. Goodness and kindness.

2) The Previous Rebbe had a special caring and love for every Jewish child. He sacrificed his precious time and endangered his own life in order to ensured that every child can study the Alef Bet and connect to the sweet tree of our holy Torah and Jewish wisdom.

The Previous Rebbe declared that “America is not different”. We must and we can be living examples of dedication, celebration and commitment to the golden chain of Judaism. Every good deed we do, adds a beautiful precious stone in the Crown of Hashem.

3) In the letter which the Previous Rebbe wrote for the anniversary of his liberation and freedom, he writes that his liberation and freedom belong to every Jew. “Even a Jew who is only Jewish by name”. We are all blessed to be part of the “7th generation” דור השביעי since the Alter Rebbe. We will be the ones who will complete the mission of transforming our world into a beautiful Royal Garden for Hashem.

Moshiach Is On The Way. Maximize your opportunities and be a leader,  inspire and motivate others to do additional deeds of goodness and kindness.

Our 3300 years of collective good is finally reaching our long awaited goal of meriting a world of peace, harmony and Divine knowledge. A world cured from all sickness and pain. A world of Moshiach.  Be a partner and courageously take action now. The world needs you!
