Chabad Inspiration Exodus Courage & Success

Hi

Wishing you Gut Shabbos Candle lighting is at 4:38 PM

The story of the exodus of Egypt and G-d’s miracle  of Moshe splitting the sea and the Jewish people emerging safely, while the Egyptian army drowned in the sea  , is all recorded in the Torah portion of B’shalach

The Midrash tells us that when pharaoh and his powerful army chased the Jews and the Jewish people found them selves sandwiched between a vicious Egyptian army and the sea, a heated debate broke out amongst the Jewish people!

Some Jews said let’s go back to Egypt! Let’s surrender! Some said let’s go to war! Some said let’s just jump into the sea! Some said let’s pray!

G-d said to Moshe, tell the Jews one word:

V’yisou!  Tell the Jewish people “ keep going ”

When Nachshon Ben Aminadav of the tribe of Judah courageously jumped into the sea, relying on G-d with absolute trust and faith, then the miracle of the sea splitting took place!

It’s been more then three thousand years.  Yet till this very day we tell our children this story every year  at Jewish Passover Seder tables around the globe!

We recite it in our daily prayers!

The Rebbe teaches us that there is a personal inspiring message for each of us in  this story:

Every person has their own journey in life. Sometimes life has challenges. Hardships. It seems like everything is lost. It looks like it is impossible to continue.

We may want to surrender and give up!

Comes along the Torah and inspires us:

G-d is on your side! G-d is with you !

Have faith and keep going ! Don’t worry! It will be ok!

Life has purpose ! Life is a gift ! Let’s celebrate life !

And if there is a challenge, we know that if we continue doing our part with faith, enthusiasm and absolute commitment, then G-d will split the sea for us !

We will come out on the other side safe and victorious !

We believe in Hashgocho Protit. Divine Providence!Everything that happens is part of a divine master plan! Our father in heaven loves us ! He never abandons us!

We live our life in accordance with G-d’s  Commandments and we do not stop because of bumps in the road! We do not surrender because of hardships! Rather , we continue marching with faith, enthusiasm and conviction , then we merit to see miracles !

May we all be inspired to take a personal lesson from this beautiful story ! Let us commit ourselves to continue marching on the path of life in accordance with G-d’s  Torah and Mitzvot  ,commandments , thereby fulfilling the purpose for which each and every single one of us was created !

Let’s happily celebrate Jewish life and sing the song of victory as the miracles happen! Including the ultimate miracle of Moshiach Now!
