This coming Thursday marks the anniversary of the Rebbe's leadership which he formally accepted on the first Yortseit - Hillula anniversary of his father- in-law, tenth of Shvat winter 1951
In his first farbrengen the Rebbe quoted king Solomon who states that G-d says:
" I have returned to my garden" to the physical world
The world is G-d's beloved garden. He entrusted each of us to be his gardeners. To plant beautiful plantings of goodness and kindness. Torah and Mitzvot
Hashem chose to create the world in order for us to make the world a home for the divine
When we bring holiness into the physical mundane world, we reveal the infinity of the creator in our physical world, fulfilling the purpose of creation
Just like the six days of the week culminate with Shabbos, so to do the six thousand years of creation culminate with the eternal Shabbos. Moshiach. A world of universal peace and harmony filled with recognition of divine wisdom
We are currently in year 5779. That's almost Shabbos on
G-d's clock. Where one thousand years is like one day. We already taste the delicious food of Shabbos late Friday afternoon
Every good thing we do, remains for eternity. We are placing another piece of the cosmic puzzle. We become a partner with Hashem in creation
The Rebbe inspires each of us to maximize our potential. To actualize our purpose of life. Our soul comes down to this world for a unique purpose. Only we our selves can contribute our unique part in the cosmic puzzle
The world needs each of us personally to play our part
No person is extra. Birth is Hashem's way of saying " I need you"
Every Jew has a special divine Jewish soul. A Neshomo. A part of G-d. We are each loved by G-d's as his own children
Let us treat every member of the Jewish family as our true brother and sister. With unconditional love and Ahavat Yisroel
May we merit to see the fulfillment of the words of Rambam-Maimonides:
"When Moshiach comes there will be no war, no jealousy, there will be peace and pleasure and the world will be filled with the wisdom of Hashem"
