Chabad Inspiration Taste Of Tanya
Hi
Wishing you Gut Shabbos
This coming Tuesday is called Rosh Hashono Of Chassidus. The new year of Chassidus. The new year begins on the 19th of Kislev
Chassidim around the world wish each other a happy new year and May you inscribed for the learning of Chassidus and the ways of Chassidus
Chassidim celebrate the anniversary of the liberation of Rabbi Schneur Zalman, the founder of Chabad , from czarist Russian prison
Rabbi Schneur Zalman authored the Tanya. There he presents the Chabad philosophy
Amongst the many concepts:
1) Every Jew has two souls
One soul is materialistic in it's desires
The second soul is a part of G-d. Therefore each and every Jew is holy, G-dly, beloved. As the Torah says to the Jewish people: "You are children of G-d"
A child is part of the father. The Jew is one with our father in heaven
2) Love every Jew unconditionally, Ahavat Yisroel, is the all encompassing commandment because every Jew possess a G-dly soul and every Jew is truly holy
When we see life from this perspective, it is easy to have sincere Jewish unity. To celebrate the spirit and truth of a meaningful life reality
To prioritize soul over body
Holiness over mundane. Light over darkness
3) The world is constantly being created by the creator with new energy and new life
As such we always have the opportunity for new good beginnings, literally every moment
4) Divine Providence means that everything in the universe is personally monitored by G-d
Nothing happens by chance
Everything is designed and orchestrated from above
As we say in Yiddish: Bashert. It’s meant to be
5) The purpose of creation is to infuse the physical world with holy Divine energy
Revealing holiness in our world by using all we have for a life filled with Torah and Mitzvot
Goodness, kindness and charity
Successfully bringing heaven down to earth
Thereby we will merit a world healed from all the negative. No sickness, no evil, no war. The resurrection of the dead. We will see a world of Divine knowledge and peace, hastening the time of Moshiach.
Gut Yom Tov
May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year infused with the ways and teachings of Chassidus!
