Jews became a nation on Passover. We were spiritual newborns. A newborn is meticulously given special food. Matzah is unleavened. No rising. Pure. No ego. Humble
The Jews are the only nation on planet earth who can trace their ancestry for more then 3300 years with great detail. We know exactly when our forefathers left Egypt. We know exactly what they ate. The menu. Matzah. Lamb. Herbs
The Jew was liberated from Egyptian slavery. Physically and spiritually. The Jew did not assimilate. Even in Egypt we maintained our Jewish identity. Our name, language and clothing style. Now, we happily choose the same. That's freedom !

3 messages of the Rebbe:
1) The Passover Seder Jewish pride celebration begins with a blessing over wine. We sanctify time. We sanctify our table. We remind ourselves that we are chosen for a leadership purpose. To infuse and inspire the world with a higher existence. To free ourselves of all limitations. Our focus: To free the world of it's impurities. To reveal the Divine treasures of goodness. To taste infinity
2) Passover is dedicated to the Jewish child. The Jewish future is Jewish children. A child is young and uneducated. Every human being has a hidden youthful "child" within. We lovingly and unconditionally, embrace, inspire and educate every child. Every "child" has a place at the national Jewish table. Every child is beloved
3) The king desires a palace. Ornate beautiful furnishings. Illuminated and comfortable.
G-d comes down to the
"Egypts" of the world. Frees us of "slave" mentality. He grants us life. Leadership. To build for him a bright palace. A garden. A world beautifully decorated with Torah and Mitzvot. Goodness and kindness. Then we will live in the king's courtyard. In the holy city of Jerusalem Israel
