Hi

Wishing you Gut Shabbos

Peace Circulation & Renewal

Peace. Shalom. A word which evokes much emotion.  The Talmud teaches: 1) Shalom -Peace- is a name of G-d. 2) Torah was given to make Shalom - Peace in the world. The time between Passover and Shavuot is a time to reflect and reconcile. The highest virtue in Judaism is peace. Uniting former adversaries. Peace. Unity. Jews. Torah. Israel. Are all synonymous. They are all one.

From the moment G-d created Adam and Eve there is friction. Paradoxically friction can yield the greatest pleasure. G-d intentionally created the world with opposites and friction. There is unique pleasure in the art of turning failure Into success. Darkness into light. Bad into good. Spice into delicacy. War into peace. Male and female into harmony.

King Solomon in Proverbs 3:17 speaks of  Torah: “it’s ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its paths are peace”.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) Healthy blood circulation requires blood flowing to and from the heart without blockages. A blockage can cause illness, heaven forbid. The Jewish people are one body. If one Jew creates a distance from another Jew, then there is a clogged artery and blockage. It prevents healthy circulation of Divine blessing. That’s why we begin our daily prayers with the words of the renowned Kabbalist , the holy Arizal: “ I accept upon myself the Mitzvah of love your fellow Jew as yourself “. Jewish unity equals healthy Divine circulation and unrestricted blessings.

2) The world is constantly being created anew. G-d continuously renews our existence. You are always new. Therefore you always have new opportunities. The past is old. Focus on the new. No matter the past sins and mistakes one may have made, now is a new beginning. It’s never too late. Happiness is to see the beauty and opportunity in every moment. It’s brand new. Maximize your renewal. You are always new and youthful because of this reality.

3) All of existence depends on G-d for it’s energy and existence. Imagine a child being lifted high above the ground. Is the child genuinely tall? Or is it thanks to the adult who is holding the child up. Since the world requires G-d for it’s existence, it follows logically that the world has no self claim to existence. It’s all thanks to the creator. This is the deeper meaning of our most sacred prayer “Hear oh Israel the Lord is our G-d the Lord is ONE”.  Nothing has a self claim to existence. It’s all thanks to our father in heaven. Therefore, logically , everything that happens is Divine Providence. Nothing is random. Your birth and existence are proof that G-d wants you. He chose to need your acts of goodness and kindness. A world united with it’s source. At peace with G-d. A world of Moshiach. Universal peace. Maximize your infinite gift. G-d and humanity are waiting for you. You are infinitely valuable.
