Leadership Rejuvenation & Time

Enjoying life. Everyone wants to enjoy and feel the excitement of life. To look forward to another day of life. To pulsate with vitality,  energy and vibrancy. Savoring every moment of life.

Part of the secret is to lead a Divine life filled with pleasure and meaning. Leadership is the ability to lead. Not to follow. To courageously march towards your noble goal and destination.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) You have unlimited potential. G-d is unlimited and so are all who recognize they are his creation. Even if one squandered years of life. Wasted time. G-d empowers us to regain lost time. By maximizing the present time, the lost time will be “filled” by heaven. We can rejuvenate and transform our past negatives into positives. Sin into merit. Loss into gain. Aging into youth. Pain into pleasure. Youth is not measured by age but by spirit.

2) Time. We are commanded to count the days from Passover to Shavuot. Our sages bemoan, a person worries about loosing his money but does not worry about the loss of his days. Time is life. A wasted day is a piece of lost life. The Torah testifies about our founding father, “Abraham was old and came with his days”. The Zohar explains that Abraham could give a detailed accounting for every moment of each day of his life. As his decedent, utilize your time. That’s true life. A life of happiness.

3) Passover is the only holiday which has a  backup date. A do over. 30 days after the first Passover. This Sunday, 14 of Iyar. Why? Because there were Jews who were “impure”. It was by their own choice. They had no one to blame but themselves. They were “distant” physically and spiritually. They behaved morally bankrupt. Unable to participate in the Passover sacrifice. But they cared. They cried to Moses. Why should we loose our connection to G-d, Judaism
and our Jewish nation.  Moses consulted G-d who responded. Give them another chance. “It’s never too late”. We can always fix our past mistakes. Reboot. A new fresh beginning.
