Ambition Imagination & Passion

A young Israeli soldier was driving his tank on the Golan Heights facing the threat of the Syrian army who’s tanks gathered during war in large forces in an attempt to conquer the strategic Golan Heights.

The Israeli soldier knew he was the only tank at that moment in that particular corridor protecting the land of Israel and the people of Israel. Until Israeli reinforcement units arrived. Despite being seriously wounded, the lone Israeli soldier courageously and successfully maneuvered his tank, changing locations during that night. Cleverly opening and shutting the tank’s headlights, hitting the enemy and striking fear and disarray by the enemy.

You are representing the Jewish people and Israel. You are fulfilling the mission of your life. Stay focused. Undeterred by scoffers and naysayers.  Ambitiously determined to achieving your goal. The world needs you.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) In a dream you can imagine opposites. The impossible. As our sages say of a dream “an elephant in the hole of a needle”. King David in Psalms compares exile to a dream. We now have the power to achieve goals which may seem impossible. Time is life. One does not control time. You can not bring back past time. Yet nobody can take current time away from you. Dream big. You may successfully be able to maximize your time and potential,  actualizing your ambitions.

2)  Summer has become a time for vacation. The American school system is closed. Yet “a fish can survive only in water”. Children and adults will thrive if summer time is used wisely to be immersed in a healthy Jewish educational environment. Sports, recreation and summer camp should be utilized to rejuvenate body and soul. You can help ensure that you and the Jewish “child” in age or in spirit, enjoy and celebrate Jewish heritage in a proper Jewish camp.

3) A person with commitment and passion brings life to daily routines. Infusing routine Jewish life with passion and enthusiasm. The sign of every living being is growth and development. Every finite step you take is an infinite step in actualizing the Divine purpose of life and creation.
