Triumph Eternity &  Renewal

Candle Lighting June 21 NY Metro 8:10pm

Hi

Wishing you Gut Shabbos

Triumph Eternity & Renewal

Flight engines are roaring for takeoff. The skyline of New York skyscrapers are intimidating  from the seat on your aircraft. Imagine you are now offered a fortune if you take along a few skyscrapers on your journey. Nice offer. Yet logically impossible. The skyscrapers are just too big to fit into your seat.

Ninety seconds after takeoff you look out your window. The Manhattan skyscrapers suddenly shrink and appear like small lego. If only the offer of a fortune was still being offered you would now happily take along as many “lego skyscrapers” as your heart desires. Yielding riches and fortunes for you.

But wait. Did Manhattan really shrink? No. It is you who gained altitude. From your newly discovered heights and with your new perspective you suddenly realize you can do it. You are capable. Actually with relative ease. The impossible became doable. Life is a beautiful gift. A journey of your Divine soul in your body. You are endowed with the power to successfully achieve the greatest goals and accomplishments. Our father in heaven trusts you and believes in you. Rise above. Gain altitude. Don’t fall to the ground. Triumph. With determination. Take your motivation wings and fly to higher altitudes. Let’s not miss our flight. Time is life. Every moment is an irreplaceable priceless treasure. Eternal riches and fortunes are waiting for you.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) When the Jews were commanded to bring the Passover sacrifice there were Jews who couldn't participate because they were spiritually impure. They came to Moses and cried "Lomoh Nigora".  Why should we be diminished. Left out. G-d responded to Moses. Give them a second chance. When a Jew misses an opportunity but sincerely cares and wants to fix it and connect to G-d and to the Jewish people, then G-d says "it's never a lost situation". In Yiddish "Es iz nit doh kein farfalin". Even If it is absolutely your fault. It was your intentional deliberate mistake. If you  sincerely want to make up the missed opportunity then our father in heaven opens the door wide open for you. A loving parent always welcomes their child.

2) A pillar of the thirteen principles of Jewish faith as recorded by Maimonides is to believe in the resurrection of the dead.  All past generations, all our loved ones, will come back to physical life in a physical body. But why is this a pillar of Jewish faith? Because it is the only thru the body that the soul can do all the good in life. The body is a vessel to express the infinite creator in our finite world. Therefore the body will be rewarded for it’s struggles, efforts and achievements with eternal physical life. The more good we do now the more reward we will enjoy when Moshiach comes. It’s all up to you. Invest now and you will eternally enjoy the reward of your efforts. You were born for a unique purpose. The keys are in your hands. Let’s use them.

3) Our sages teach us that during sleep our soul ascends to heaven and “draws life” and rejuvenates with Divine energy and power.  In Judaism even sleep is a tool with which we serve our creator. We utilize our revitalized energy of sleep to do goodness and kindness. The Baal Shemtov teaches that a soul can come down to this world for seventy eighty years just to do a favor for another. A physical favor and even more so a spiritual favor. Your soul was hand picked by the creator to make the world a Divine beautiful garden. You were born for eternal greatness. Torah gives you clarity for life’s roadmap. Actualize your talents and strengths. Be the hero you were born to be. Discover and welcome the real you.
