A Heart To Heart Conversation
This Shabbos 3 Tammuz - July 6, is the anniversary of the Rebbe’s Hillula.
Growing up in Crown Heights Brooklyn New York, in close proximity to the Rebbe, is a blessing which gave us the opportunity to have Rebbe at the center of our life. Praying with the Rebbe at 770 Eastern Parkway almost every Friday night, Shabbas morning, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and all the holidays.
Being near the Rebbe during many hours of the Rebbe’s talks and teachings at the Farbrengens, making personal eye-contact-communication with the Rebbe during the singing while raising a cup of wine to say Lchayim to the Rebbe. Growing up with the Rebbe is a treasure which forever permeates every fiber of existence. A bond and love to the Rebbe and a connection on the deepest level.
Words are limited. We each have a body and a soul. A Neshomoh. Our soul is unlimited. It is a part of our infinite creator and father in heaven. Limited words are insufficient instruments to express our infinite soul.
The Rebbe’s unconditional love and belief in you. That you are needed as an active partner in transforming the world into a Divine beautiful garden. Actualizing the vision of creation and of all existence, is something we deeply cherish. It is inspiring, uplifting and motivating.
As we honor this sacred day of 3 Tammuz , we are honest with ourselves, we introspect and take action. Like a soldier marching with the general to victory, we are inspired by the teachings and leadership of the Rebbe. To transform our longing and pain into positive energy and action. Maximizing it’s power for the positive by discovering your unlimited Divine abilities, talents and potential. Lighting up the world with beacons of light. Illuminating the darkness of exile with the beautiful light of universal peace and harmony, happiness and celebration. With the coming of Moshiach Now.
So yes. We live with the Rebbe. Aspiring to live the Rebbe’s vision. “It is from and through the Rebbe that all Divine blessings flow both physically and spiritually”. The Rebbe’s international network of more then 4000 Chabad Houses in more then 100 countries around the globe are shining lights embracing every individual with Ahavat-Yisrael, unconditional love, preparing the world for Moshiach.
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Past mistakes don’t define your future. In Hayom Yom authored by the Rebbe, the message for 3 Tammuz says: “A Jewish groan which, G‑d forbid, arises from physical misfortune, is also a great teshuva; (return to G-d) how much more so then, is a groan arising from spiritual distress a lofty and effective teshuva. The groan pulls him out of the depths of evil and places him on a firm footing in the realm of good“.
2) Helping another opens heavens doors for you. The Hayom Yom message of 28 Sivan is: "For helping someone in his livelihood, even for them to earn just 70 kopeks (a small, low-value Russian coin) on a calf, all the gates to the Heavenly Chambers are open for you. One should really know the route to the Heavenly Chambers, but actually it is not crucial. You only need the main thing - to help another wholeheartedly, with sensitivity, to take pleasure in doing a kindness to another".
3) G-d loves you and believes in you. Even your past mistakes and your sincere regrets should be used as a positive motivation to propel you to a better more meaningful life. To reach greater heights. You are a pure good loving kind soul. Discover the beauty and happiness within you. When a captain or a pilot embark on a journey the compass and map ensure your desired destination. The manufacturers manual enables success. Life and the world are sophisticated creations with meticulous design. Torah is our user-manual and destination map. Rise above the challenges with leadership and focus on your destination and purpose of existence. The Holy Land Israel is our destination. We are the passengers. Moshiach will provide the “wings” to fly. You are a partner and you can be the one to make our national destination a universal reality.
