Renewal Reflection & Individuality

Hi

Wishing you Gut Shabbos

The day before Rosh Hashanah is the birthday of the Tzemach Tzedek. The third Lubavitch Rebbe, who said in Yiddish “Tracht Gut Vet Zein Gut”. “Think good and It will be good”.

May Hashem fulfill the desires of your heart in a good and revealed way and may you be blessed with a good sweet year. Together may we all merit to hear the sound of the Shofar of Elijah notifying us of the good news of Moshiach  and we will celebrate with song and dance in our beloved holy city Jerusalem !

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) Renewal. On Rosh Hashanah G-d shines a new light and energy which illuminates our world. Rosh Hashanah inspires us to launch new initiatives. New beginnings. Turning a new page in life. To live with happiness enthusiasm. The sign of every living organism is it‘s growth and development. You now have new power to grow and accomplish more then in your past. Emulate the creator and celebrate the new year with new accomplishments.

2) Reflection. Rosh Hashanah is a time of reflection. But we must make sure that our negative past does not discourage us. Because the good things we do come from our soul which is part of G-d and is eternal. The non good things we may do, come from our animalistic and evil inclination which is temporary. We repair our misdeeds with proper Teshuva, returning to our Heavenly Father. Focus on the eternal. On the good within you.  You are a treasure of unlimited good.

3) Individuality. Some people, some community leaders, mistakenly think that Rosh Hashanah is a time to discuss global problems and global solutions. However the Shofar is a singular individual instrument. It is not an orchestra. This inspires us to focus on the things we personally can do to meaningfully beautify our life and our surroundings. This is accomplished by bringing more light, Torah and Mitzvot, more goodness and kindness and more positivity into our life. Sound the sweet sounds of your Shofar. The world needs your notes. The melody and song of your unlimited potential. We all need you.

Wishing you:

Ksiva Vachasimo Tova, Shana Tova Umesuka
A good sweet year!

Lchayim
