Celebration Humanity & Sweetness

A young teenage prince was enjoying life. All imaginable comforts and luxuries were always available. Money, arts, music etc. Any gourmet food the prince desired was immediately prepared by the chefs of the royal palace. But a prince must behave in an appropriate manner.

The temptations the prince desired most were not permitted. The prince abandoned the kingdom and became a drunk lowlife. The king’s best friend located the prince and told him that his father the king is heartbroken and crying. The king yearns to see and hug his child. After much effort the prince returned to the palace.

The king was overwhelmed with happiness. Paradoxically, because  the prince fell so low, the joy of his return was even greater. We are all a prince/princess of our loving father in heaven. The lower we may have fallen, the greater the joy and happiness of our Heavenly Father upon our return home.

As we approach the High Holidays let’s focus on the happiness of our Heavenly Father. Don’t beat yourself for past mistakes. More importantly let’s ensure that the smile on our Heavenly Father’s face shines forever brightly. This brings us the blessings and riches of the King for a happy sweet good year.

3 messages based on the teaching of the Rebbe:

1) Rosh Hashanah is the birthday of humanity. Adam and Eve were created on the sixth day. The world was created for mankind. You have the power to give the creator the pleasure of fulfilling the purpose and desire of creation. A Moshiach world. When you exercise your free will and choose to crown the creator as your king. Your life is infinitely valuable. The creator is focused on you. The world needs you.

2) Adam and Eve were banished from the garden of Eden. They ate from the tree of knowledge. They wanted to understand everything. There is deep beauty in pure faith. It transcends the limitations of the mind. We should use our mind to the maximum potential. But let’s remember that true love transcends logic. Your soul yearns to connect to it’s Divine source with unlimited love. Connect with pure commitment. You will be unconditionally blessed and connected.

3) We wish each other a “Shana Tova Umesuka” A good sweet year. A double expression,  good and sweet.  Everything that comes from heaven is good. But it’s not always sweet. We wish each other it should be good and “sweet”. A child can taste immediately if it is sweet. We pray for revealed good. Sweet. When you wish blessings to another then blessings are showered upon you.
