Angels Stress & Happiness

As the historic flood waters threatened universal  extinction, G-d commanded Noach “come into the ark with your family”.  The Baal Shemtov explains that the Hebrew word for Ark which is Teivah also means “words”. Enter the words of Torah and prayer.

Life can be a turbulent journey, ups and downs. Waves of all sorts of pressures and stress can be overwhelming. The financial markets. Highs and lows. Real estate, investments, stocks, bonds and job salaries can fluctuate. Values and tradition can seem like they are fighting for survival as the flood of modern technology if misused can threaten to drown all which we cherish.

Chabad philosophy provides a guaranteed formula. Go into the Ark. Protect yourself first with the power of the words of Torah and prayer. Make sure there are no leaks. No distractions. Laser focused. Now that you are shielded. Go for success.

Every letter and word of the Hebrew Alfa Bet is holy. It has Divine power. Every word you say in prayer creates an angle who serves as your heavenly advocate. The sincerity of your heart warms your words with sweetness.

You have the power to focus and to prioritize. To ensure that your values, heritage and your loved ones are safe. You can  successfully navigate your journey to your desired  destination.

The flood cleansed the world. A New beginning despite a negative past. Maimonides compares immersion in water, a Mikveh, to immersing yourself in the wisdom of Torah. Chabad Chassidim reveals your inner soul. Facilitating the transformation of painful past history into a happy new future.

Some stubbornly choose to hold on to the negative pain of the past. Trapped in false freedom by old locks. Torah empowers you to rise above the “flood”.  True lasting freedom. Transforming pain into pleasure. You can use the negative energy to survive, thrive and enjoy the celebrations of life in peace.

Remember not to leave anyone behind. Dont abandon anyone.  Be like Abraham. Invite and inspire all who are in your environment to join you in the safety of the “Ark”. You can be the leader who saves lives. You can provide a lifeline to a young generation who is urgently learning how to swim in the deep sea of life. Everyone deserves a chance.

The negativity of the flood is associated with Noach. Because when the cold storm arrived Noach put on a “fur coat” and saved only himself and his family. But if you light a fireplace, then the comforting warmth of your fire, your sharing, your loving kindness will save the lives of all in your vicinity.

Leadership is to lead by example. To care for the individual. To be proactive. You are the captain of your ship. Moshiach is on the way. You have the power to guide the world to success. The world needs you.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) You can use the challenges of life as a springboard to propel you to new heights. You decide how to utilize emotional floods. Instead of drowning in the storms of life you can use the energy to change the world.

2) You can always launch yourself with a new reality. Since the world is created every moment anew therefore you always have a new opportunity to discover your inner strengths and talents.

3) Prayer keeps you warm. Prayer is connecting to G-d with clarity and focus. It empowers you to warm your soul and inspire others. If one is cold it’s difficult to warm others. Warm yourself with the beauty and wisdom of heritage and tradition. Unleash your power and potential. You will instantly be a leader who can warm others.
