Laughter Souls & Beauty

Story In Talmud:

Rabbi Gamliel, Rabbi Elazar Ben Azaria, Rabbi Yehoshua and Rabbi Akiva went up to Jerusalem.

When they reached Mount Scopus, they tore their clothing. When they reached the Temple Mount, they saw a fox emerging from the place of the Holy of Holies. The sages started crying. Rabbi Akiva was laughing.

Said they to him: "Why are you laughing?" Said he to them: "Why are you crying?"

Said they to him: "A place -so holy- that it is said of it, "the stranger that approaches it shall die" and now foxes walk in it, and we shouldn't cry?"

Said he to them: This is why I am laughing. The Torah makes Zachariah's prophecy dependent upon Uriah's prophecy.

With Uriah, it is written: "Therefore, because of you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the Temple Mount like the high places of a forest". By Zachariah it is written: "Old men and women shall yet sit in the streets of Jerusalem".

"As long as Uriah's prophecy was not fulfilled, I feared that Zechariah's prophecy may not be fulfilled. But now that Uriah's prophecy -of destruction- has been fulfilled, it is certain that Zechariah's prophecy - of renewal and rebuilding- will be fulfilled."

With these words they replied to him: "Akiva, you have consoled us! Akiva, you have consoled us".

The Jew always looks for the positive. Finding the light within the darkness. Transforming tragedy to triumph.

The Haftorah of the Shabbat after Tisha B'Av is the comforting prophecy of the prophet Isaiah: "Be comforted, Be comforted my nation, says your G-d".

Our loving Father In Heaven feels our pain. He cries with us when we cry. He is happy when we, his beloved children, are happy.

Let us joyfully celebrate that we are blessed to be his chosen people. The beloved chosen children of our creator.

We are proud Jews. Your happiness effects the creator. Let's make our Heavenly Father smile.

Unleash your Jewishness. You are a priceless gift to the world! Never underestimate your true value! Our creator is infinite and so is your potential!

You are a member of the Rebbe's generation. The 7th generation of Chabad. Celebrate your true potential and you will give the world the gift it is desperately looking for. Peace, Health and Happiness. In one word: Moshiach!

3 meessage based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) When you recognize that your potential is exclusively a gift from the infinite creator, then you discover that you have infinite potential.

2) Pain is a tool. The purpose is the happiness and pleasure which follow. Don't allow the short-term pain to ruin your eternal happiness.

3) You have the power to heal the world from all it's pain. The deepest level of your soul is a spark of Moshiach. Uncover the beauty of your soul and you will reveal the eternal beauty of the world.
