Celebrating The Liberation of The Previous Rebbe!

Summer 1927 in the former Soviet Union marked a historic day for all Jews. The Sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn was miraculously liberated from jail and exile.
The communist Bolshevik regime arrested him for the “crime” of running a vast underground network across the entire Soviet Empire, keeping the flame of Judaism shining brightly.
The Previous Rebbe writes about these two day: “The two days of 12 & 13 of Tamuz are The “Holiday of Holidays“. “Not only I alone did G-d liberate, but all who carry the name Israel - Jew”.
The communist wanted to extinguish the light of Judaism. They tortured, murdered and arrested countless Jews for their unshakeable faith. They closed almost all Synagogues and Jewish institutions. The communist knew that as long as a young Jewish child studies the holy Torah and Alef Bet then the communist will fail. Indeed this is what ultimately happened.
The celebration of this miraculous victory, the liberation of the Previous Rebbe, gives us strength, motivation and blessing. To ensure that we inspire ourselves and every Jew, especially every Jewish child with a love of Torah and Judaism.
May you be blessed on this special Holiday with all that you need in good health and happiness. And May we be all be blessed to recognise that the shining light of Judaism is in our hands.
Together, united as one, we will triumph over all challenges and darkness and we will merit to bring to the world it’s most desperate cure with peace and harmony. Celebrating a life rich with purpose and Divine meaning with the coming of Moshiach Now!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) During the forthcoming two Days of Liberation 12 and 13 Tamuz, Chassidim are to Farbreng for material and spiritual good and blessing, as instituted by our first father, the Alter Rebbe.
During this farbrengen chassidim are to talk to one another in a spirit of brotherhood about strengthening fixed times for Torah study.
2) The key to Jewish continuity is Jewish education. The Previous Rebbe risked his life and was arrested and sentenced to execution which was commuted to exile, all because he loved and cared for Jew, especially the Jewish education of every Jewish child. Do everything to ensure a Torah Jewish education for every Jewish child.
3) The Previous Rebbe says that his Holiday belongs to all of us including “all who carry the name Jew”. Even a Jew who is not visibly observant, is a Jew with a holy soul, and is loved by our Father in Heaven. There is no such thing as a small Jew. Every Jew is filled with love, goodness and holiness.
