Celebrating & Completing Meimonedias  Book of Jewish Law

Hi

Wishing you Gut Shabbos

Candle Lighting June 10 - Tamuz 18 NY Metro: 8:07pm

Meimonedias is the only manuscript we have of a Jewish scholar who codified all of Jewish law, for all times. Including the times of the Holy Temple and the times of Moshiach.

In his 14 book monumental work Meimonedias gives us the entire law of the written and oral Torah. Additionally Meimonedias authored a shorter one book version entitled Sefer Hamitsvos.

Nearly 40 years ago, the Rebbe announced that he is launching a historic daily study campaign to study the code of Meimonedias. Friday 18 Tamuz, July 10, 2020 Jews around the world begin the 40th cycle.

From children to teens to adults, Jews around the world, are joining the study of Meimonedias. Jews around the world united in studying the entire Torah!

The final paragraph of the last chapter describes the days of Moshiach:

“In that era, there will be neither famine or war, envy or competition for good will flow in abundance and all the delights will be freely available as dust. The occupation of the entire world will be solely to know G-d.

Therefore, the Jews will be great sages and know the hidden matters, grasping the knowledge of their Creator according to the full extent of human potential, as Isaiah 11:9states: 'The world will be filled with the knowledge of G-d as the waters cover the ocean bed."

The beginning and opening paragraph, discusses the foundation of Jewish law. The commandment to know the existence of the creator:

“The foundation of all foundations and the pillar of wisdom is to know that there is a Primary Being who brought into being all existence. All the beings of the heavens, the earth, and what is between them came into existence only from the truth of His being”.

Your study of Meimonedias is hastening the biblical promise of a world of peace and harmony, with the coming of Moshiach Now!

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) The existence of a creator is understood with the logic of the mind. We are commanded to study and explore with our minds so we can “know” the creator as much as possible. Chabad philosophy gives you this knowledge. All which is beyond our intellectual capacity, we believe with pure faith.

2) You are never forgotten or alone. Our loving Father in Heaven is always with you. Divine Providence is always with you.

3) The love of our Father in Heavan for each of his children is unconditional. Even a seeming punishment is really disguised love. You are always loved.
