Jewish Victory & Jewish Continuity
Hi
Wishing you Gut Shabbos
Candle Lighting Friday August 7 - 17 Av
New York Metro 7:42pm
You are the hero!
1939 was a particularly challenging year for Jews of Russia. The brutality of the communist regime was devastating.
The Rebbe’s father, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, successfully kept the flame of Judaism shining brightly. He even got the communist regime to retreat and help him certify, proper Kosher wheat so Jews across the Soviet Union can enjoy Kosher hand-made Shmura Matzo for Passover.
The communist arrested him before Passover 1939. They exiled him to the remote village of Chili, Kazakhstan. Never loosing his Jewish pride, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak continued even in exile to write mystical Torah secrets, with ink which his wife, Rebbetzin Chana, made herself from grass. Today these teachings are studied around the world.
On the 20th of Av, summer 1944, his soul ascended on high. His holy resting place is in Alma Ata Kazakhstan.
Despite the challenges of the current pandemic, the Kazakhstan government graciously issued special Travel Visas, so hundreds from around the world can come honor the Rebbe’s father with privately chartered airplanes this Monday.
A soul doesn’t die. It lives on for eternity. With all it’s intelligence and emotions. Upon a persons passing the soul elevates itself “one floor higher”.
The torch of Judaism is now in your hands! You are the modern Jewish hero!
By doing all we can, going the extra mile, we show the world that the spirit of the Jew shall live forever! The Jewish torch proudly proclaims victory and triumph. We will transform the world with the vision of Moshiach.
Honor the Rebbe’s father this Monday 10th of August, 20 of Av, with a Mitzvah! It will bring you special blessings. You are the Jewish soldier on the front lines of strengthening Jewish pride, Jewish heritage and Jewish continuity. We are all counting on you!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Mistakes are designed by heaven. Our mistakes empower us to propel ourselves higher. Don’t waste your time blaming yourself for your past mistakes. Maximize the momentum of your desire to grow. Then your mistakes are transformed into positive gains!
2) If we allow the atrocities of the Nazis to dictate our commitment to Judaism then we are empowering their dream of destruction. But when we live our life as proud Jews, living with Torah, then the Nazis lost and the Jew wins.
3) Your soul is Infinitely more powerful then what you know. To limit your soul is to limit
G-d. Your potential is unlimited. Connect to your inner shining diamond and you will discover you are priceless. Unstoppable.
