Rosh Hashanah:
Renewal Rejuvenation & Growth.
Judaism is alive and vibrant.
In Jewish tradition every moment and every breath of life is sacred. A gift from Heavan.
King Solomon's words stir our hearts and mind:
"To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time of wailing and a time of dancing".
As we celebrate Rosh Hashana and the renewal of time, we gain deeper appreciation and gratitude for the gift of life.
A famous Chabad Yiddish proverb says "Der Morgen Darf Zein Besser Vi Der Heint". The tomorrow must be better then the today.
Stagnation and status quo are insufficient. We must always strive to reach higher and do better.
The Rebbe writes that the sign of every living organism is it's growth and development.
We should ask ourselves, how can we best utilize and maximize the new year. This is an empowering question. It inspires us grow. To reach deeper within ourselves.
To uncover the treasures which are inside our heart and soul,
waiting to be utilized to their fullest potential.
Rosh Hashana is a time to start a new page. A fresh start. To put our past mistakes behind us. We look forward to a new beginning.
Rosh Hashana reminds us of our sacred duty of transforming global darkness into light.
The entire purpose of all of existence depends on us, the human being who was created on Rosh Hashana.
Every Rosh Hashana we have the opportunity to crown G-d as our king for the new year.
You are the child who G-d loves to spend time with. You are loved by G-d unconditionally.
Your very existence is G-d's treasure.
Let us utilize the powerful 48 hours of Rosh Hashanah to launch a new mindset of success. Eternalizing each moment by infusing our time with Jewish purpose and meaning.
Wishing you In the traditional Hebrew greeting which the Rebbe wishes for the new year:
כתיבה וחתימה טובה
שנה טובה ומתוקה
May you inscribed and sealed for a good year. A sweet good year!
A year of פלאות אראנו. Revealed wonders.
3 Messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Rosh Hashanah we return and reconnect to our Father in Heaven. When we do this with happiness, we are empowered to breakthrough all obstacles. Happiness is the powerful tool which overcomes challenges.
2) You have the power to give G-d the gift of His purpose for creation. Build a home for G-d In your heart. G-d is waiting for you to open the door and let Him in to your life.
3) Help another Jew to be able to hear Shofar. Share the happiness of Rosh Hashanah with a person in need, including providing food and clothing and Hashem will bless you with abundance.
