Empowerment Bonding & Solutions
Hi
Wishing you Gut Shabbos. Shabbat Shalom
Candle Lighting Friday November 20 - 4 Kislev New York Metro 4:13pm
The first baby in history to have a Bris at 8 days old was our father Issac - Yitzchok. Abraham - Avrohom was 99 at his own Bris. Chabad philosophy explains the reason why a Jewish baby is circumcised at such a young age.
When a baby is born, the logical mind of rational thinking is still in it’s infancy. As the baby grows up so does the process of rational thinking.
Two parties enter a covenant as a mechanism which guarantees that their relationship is eternal and their bond is unbreakable.
A Bris is a covenant with our loving Father in Heaven. It transcends logic and reason. The Bris is about the eternal and unconditional connection between the Jew and the Creator.
Yitzchok was circumcised at 8 days old because it emphasized a transcendent connection. It established an eternal bond, an unbreakable connection between the Jew and G-d.
A Jew always has a deep inherent love and connection with our Father in Heaven. No sin or mistake can break this bond and connection.
Like Avrohom and Yitzchok, you too have the power to help change the world. You can uncover the hidden diamonds and treasures of goodness and kindness within yourself and within the world.
Be a leader. Unleash the power of you!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Life is about spreading light. To uncover the beauty and goodness in everything. G-d conceals His existence. But with the light of Torah and Mitzvot we transform a dark world into a brightly lit home and garden. As the Mishna says: “All the days of your life should be dedicatef to bring Moshiach”.
2) No one finds themselves in a specific situation. You got yourself into a certain situation and you can put yourself into another situation.
3) Life is like going to the marketplace. An opportunity to accomplish and achieve. A person should contemplate the kindness of G-d who grants a finite person the opportunity to bring joy and pleasure to the infinite creator. This inspires a person to eagerly serve the creator with enthusiasm and a joyous heart.
