Hi
Wishing you Gut Shabbos. Shabbat Shalom
Weddings Motivation & Blood-Pressure
Warsaw Poland 1928
11 days before Chanukah, on the 14th of Kislev, the city of Warsaw celebrated the historic wedding of the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin. The wedding celebration continued till 3:30 AM.
Painfully absent from the celebration were the Rebbe’s parents. The cruel Russians did not allow them to leave their city of Yakatrinislav, Ukraine. They were blocked from traveling to Warsaw for their eldest son’s wedding.
The Rebbe’s parents arranged a simultaneous wedding celebration at their home at 13 Barankaya in Yakatrinislav. Joy and tears mixed together. Despite the Russian government’s secret eyes, an unexpected overflowing crowd of 300 friends and relatives came to celebrate.
When the Rebbe’s father danced with his brother, there was not a dry eye. The love of the citywide community to their beloved Rabbi was palpable. Many were risking their jobs and imprisonment.
Even Jews who were working for the ruthless government, attended and risked their life. The Jewish spark within them came to life. They came to express their admiration and respect to their Rabbi.
At the 25th wedding anniversary, the Rebbe said that this wedding anniversary is a happy celebration for all of us. Because this day connected the Rebbe with us. Since the Rebbetzin is the daughter of the previous Rebbe and as a sun-in-law, the Rebbe succeeded his father-in-law.
Every year on this day we have a special opportunity for blessings. As we honor and celebrate the Rebbe's wedding anniversary.
The Talmud teaches us that the offspring of the righteous is their good deeds. It is thanks to this day that there are more then 4000 Chabad House centers reaching every corner of the globe. A home where every Jew is welcomed with unconditional love.
Let us show our gratitude and appreciation by honoring the Rebbe on this sacred day. Let's do something special. Studying some Torah, doing a Mitzvah, giving Charity, helping someone in need.
May you be blessed with abundance, success and long life in good health and happy spirit!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The world was created with Divine speech, ten statements which continuously animate the world. Speech is external, it is not part of our inner self. On Shabbos the world is elevated to higher levels. You are closer to G-d. Negativity ceases and G-d’s pleasure is revealed. Enjoy your Shabbos soul and you can taste the pleasure.
2) Anger is unhealthy for your blood-pressure. Since everything that happens is orchestrated by our loving Father in Heaven, you can be sure that ultimately, all we be good.
3) Life will soon be pure pleasure. No pain or illness. On Friday afternoon we taste the foods of Shabbos. One thousand years is like one day by G-d. Now we are past 5750 years since creation. It is now the equivalent of late Friday afternoon. The eternal Shabbos is imminently arriving. Moshiach is on the way. A world of peace and Divine knowledge.
You have the power to expedite the healing for the whole world.
