Time Happiness & Growth
Life is a gift. Every moment is an opportunity. The way we will choose to utilize each moment will define the value of that moment for eternity.
There are living moments and there are dead moments. When we waste an hour of time, then that hour is dead time. Wasted.
We are here on a journey to hasten the times of Moshiach when the world will be cured from all it’s pain and hardships. Every moment which is well utilized hastens the time of Moshiach.
When we use our time to do an act of kindness, to be there for another, to study Torah, prayer or to put a smile on someone, then we have transformed that moment into an eternal moment filled with life.
After the passing of the Rebbetzin, the Rebbe often quoted the words of King Solomon והחי יתן אל לבו, the living should take to heart.
May we take a lesson from the Rebbetzin and make each moment of life count. Filling our time with meaningful, good things. Helping others with heartfelt kindness, warmth and sincerity. Maximizing our time.
This is the key to true happiness.
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The love that our loving Father in Heaven has for every Jew is beyond the limitation of reason. “The mere existence” of a Jew gives G-d the deepest pleasure. The Jewish people are the “riches” of His hidden treasures.
2) Exile and hardships are the crushing of our ego. When you plant a seed, first the seed rots and then the beautiful tree grows and blossoms. You have the power to transform hardships into opportunities of beautiful growth.
3) Don’t ignore your physical body. The body has much strength. When you harness the power of the body for goodness and kindness, then the body is elevated to a higher level of holiness. You have the power to bring the blessing of healing and peace to the world.
