For more than 3300 years, the Jewish people gather the nights of Passover to tell the story of the exodus from Egypt. To celebrate our liberation and freedom.

Freedom can be understood on many levels. Children may want the freedom to eat ice cream whenever they choose. Teenagers may want the freedom to choose the best schools and to win the sports game.

Chabad philosophy explains that true freedom is to live your life to its fullest potential. Free from from facades and false perceptions. The freedom to leave all limitation and restraints and to successfully accomplish the goals and purpose for which your soul came down to our physical world.

You were born because our loving Father In Heaven chose you for a unique purpose. For important and holy accomplishments. You are not a random existence. Your life is rich with meaning.

The Rebbe’s birthday is four days before Passover. The Rebbe encourages us to celebrate our birthday and to make good resolutions. The freedom to live your life with fulfillment which automatically yields true lasting happiness.

As we dedicate the Passover Seder to the Jewish child, let us ensure that we transmit the beauty and sweetness of our Jewish heritage. To give every child the clarity, opportunity and directions to a happy life. Freedom to maximize their unique potential.

You are a most powerful person. You can grant others true freedom. You can inspire others. You can empower others with confidence. Your focused attention to our Jewish brothers and sisters will transform lives.

This Passover free yourself and unleash your talents and potential. Our loving Father In Heaven loves you and will reward you with a life of true freedom and happiness.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) Matzah has the power to heal and the power to strengthen faith. There is holy energy in Matzah, especially Hand Made Shmurah Matzah. Paradoxically, Matzah is flat humble bread, yet it empowers you to connect to our loving Father in Heaven, which enables you to achieve unlimited success.

2) Rambam - Maimonides birthday is the day before Passover. In his code of Jewish law Maimonides rules that a Jewish adult who was raised without a Jewish education is like a “child in captivity”. They are not at fault for not living in accordance with Jewish law. In today’s society there are no “wicked” children. Today’s youth is waiting for your love, guidance and inspiration.

3) Passover we focus on the children. Successful education is when the student enjoys the message. With sensitivity, love and caring we can imbue the “child” of all ages with a love of Torah and Yiddishkeit. Every child is loved by our loving Father In Heaven. Treat a child with love and G-d will show you His love for you.
