Joy Celebration & Passion

The great sage Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, known also by the acronym “Rashbi” the author of the holy Zohar, requested that the day of his passing should be celebrated with joy and Simcha. Jews around the world joyously celebrate this special holy day of Lag B’omer.

Rabbi Shimon explained that he his happy that he merited to completely fulfill the mission of his soul in this world and the Shechina - Divine Presence is with him. A great powerful holy light was shining on him on the day of his passing. The day of his celebration.

Life is a blessing. The life force within us is our soul. Our Neshomoh.  The Zohar says that our soul is a part of our loving Father in Heaven. We are literally the children of our Father. You are holy. You are a cherished treasure. G-d loves you as His only child. Nothing can ever block His eternal love for you.

The Zohar teaches: 3 are connected and interlinked. The Jewish people, the Torah and the Holy One blessed be He. You are one with G-d. You are the pupil of G-d's eye. His beloved pleasure.

Let us truly rejoice and cherish who we are. Truly celebrate the love and unity of our soul with the Creator. The priceless value of you. The priceless value of your life. The joy and celebration of your soul every time you do a Mitzvah. Each moment you study Torah.

The Kabbalah and teachings of the Zohar was continued by the Arizal in Tzfas Israel, which was continued and developed  by the Baal Shem Tov, which was continued by the Alter Rebbe and Chabad Chassidus teachings.

You are a precious irreplaceable link in this chain. The entire world needs you. Your soul came down into our world for a unique reason and purpose. The more goodness and kindness we do, the more we feel true happiness because we are accomplishing our purpose in life.

May you be blessed to successfully maximize your full unlimited potential. To always  celebrate a meaningful joy of life in good health and true happiness. You can  bring Moshiach Now!

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) Jewish children are pure and their words of Torah  have the power to protect us from all negativity. As King David says in Tehillim chapter 8:  “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings You have established strength because of Your adversaries, in order to put an end to enemy and avenger”. Every Jewish child deserves to receive a Torah education. Be a partner in Jewish education. This will bring you special blessings, joy and happiness.

2) The beginning of one's spiritual decline is the lack of avoda - effort in prayer. Everything becomes dry and cold. Even a Mitzvah performed by habit becomes burdensome. Everything is rushed. One loses the sense of pleasure in Torah-study. The atmosphere itself becomes crass. Needless to say, one is totally incapable of influencing others. Pray with enthusiasm and passion and you will warm your heart and soul. You will feel good and enjoy life.

3) Peace and harmony amongst the Jewish people is a key source for all blessings. We give the greatest pleasure to our loving Father in Heaven by loving all his children unconditionally.

As King David says in Psalm 133:  “A song of ascents of David. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers who also dwell together”. Do your fellow Jew a favor and G-d will do favors for you! Love your fellow Jew and G-d will love you!
