Motivation Enthusiasm & Happiness
You want to be motivated and brimming with enthusiasm. Life is happier and more enjoyable when you feel you are successfully living a life of meaningful accomplishments.
In Lekutei Torah Chukas 61-D, the founder of Chabad, Rabbi Schneur Zalman - the Alter Rebbe- explores the purpose and reason why your soul comes down from it’s happy place in Heaven, to our physical and challenging world.
The Alter Rebbe explains the journey of the soul: “The main purpose is to connect to the Creator with love and fear and the main connection is with Prayer because the words of Prayer are closer to human understanding”.
The Zohar -the holy book of Kabbalah- states that a person merits a share in the world to come if during their life on earth they transformed “bitterness to sweet”. This refers to transforming some of the darkness of our world into sweetness. Harnessing negative forces, for positive accomplishments.
In his analysis the Alter Rebbe explains the statement of our sages “There is nothing bad which comes down from Heaven”. Everything is good at it’s source. The Alter Rebbe uses the famous parable of the Zohar.
Even the harlot hired by the king to test the prince with seduction, has good intentions. Her cause is good. She wants the king to be happy with her, therefore she sincerely wants the prince to reject her and he should pass the test of temptation. Thereby proving his unwavering loyalty to his father the king.
Silver must go thru a cleansing process with flames of fire in order to remove the dirt and purify the silver. The more dirt there is mixed with the silver, the hotter the flames of the torch and fire.
So too does the soul need your Prayer to be with fiery flames of love and enthusiasm in order to remove the sand, earth, “dirt” of it’s partner, the physical body which comes from the earth.
Your fiery flames of love which permeate your words of Prayer, enable your beautiful soul to clean it's partner the body since it is dirtied by the “evil inclination” which is like the harlot. Then the soul and body emerge clean with a sparkling shine. Your soul then joyously connects to her loving Father in Heaven with a deeper love.
Chabad Chassidim are known for the sweet Chabad soul stirring songs and melodies during Prayer which inspire and warm the heart. During Prayer Chassidim often hum a tune filled with passion and enthusiasm. These tunes create a fire of love which comes from the heart and polishes each word of our Prayer.
May our loving Father in Heaven answer your prayers and bless you with good health, happiness and long life. A life of physical and spiritual riches.
Your life is an important part of healing the world from all it’s pain and conflict as you are empowered to hasten the coming of Moshiach Now. A world of true peace, love and Divinity. You have the power to give the world the greatest gift in history! We need you!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The Russians arrested and jailed the previous Rebbe in 1927 for fearlessly and courageously keeping the flame of Yiddishkeit alive. The entire world witnessed the double miracle of canceling the decree of execution and miraculously freeing him from exile on 12 - 13 Tamuz after just a few days. His self sacrifice enables and empowers us to free ourselves from all “jails” and challenges. You have the power to triumph and to victoriously celebrate your life with Jewish pride filled with Torah and Mitzvah.
2) Every Jew is G-d’s beloved child and treasure. As the previous Rebbe said: “All who are even just called a Jew by name”. With love and consistent enthusiastic efforts filled genuine love and Ahavas Yisroel we can kindle the flame of Yiddishkeit in the heart of every Jew. You have the power to save Jewish youth from assimilation.
3) 12 and 13 of Tamuz are special days which celebrate the liberation of the previous Rebbe from life threatening Russian imprisonment and exile in 1927. On these two festive days you can tap into the energy of the previous Rebbe and his miracles. Participate in a Farbrengen and maximize your leadership and influence to help strengthen Jewish education and Jewish continuity. When you are busy helping your fellow Jew, you open new channels of blessings for yourself for all your needs in good health and happiness for you!
