Celebrating 80! The Rebbe Escapes Nazis!

Mazel Tov!

The 28th day of Sivan -this coming Tuesday- is a historic day of joy and celebration!  After miraculously escaping Nazi Europe via Lisbon Portugal, the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin arrived on this day in 1941 to the shores of the blessed United States of America.

The fruits of this day changed the world forever. The Rebbe’s leadership and vision transformed Jewish life around the globe and continue to bring light to a world which may seem shrouded in darkness. Clarity and joy to a world of confusion.

We all are beneficiaries of this great miraculous day. The Rebbe’s more then 4000 Chabad House centers span the globe and are beacons of light, joy and hope. They are the guarantee for global Jewish survival and Jewish continuity.  A home where every Jew is welcomed with unconditional love. A source of light and kindness for all of humanity.

The teachings of the Rebbe inspire us and uplift us all: The world is not a jungle. The world is “G-d’s Royal Garden”. You were born for greatness, you are a partner in accomplishing the purpose and goal of the master plan of creation!

Dont underestimate the power of you! Life is not random, life is a gift and a meticulously  designed journey, personally orchestrated and guided by our loving Father In Heaven. You are an unparalleled powerful force of goodness and you personally have the opportunity to complete the beautiful tapestry of the world’s journey.

The Rebbe encourages us to internalize the idea that if one atom bomb can heaven forbid cause so much destruction, then certainly how much more so on the positive side, you, one person, can cause much good, you can create a chain reaction of goodness and kindness which can heal the world.

Candidly speaking, often we are afraid of maximizing our own potential. Perhaps we may be intimidated and conscientious of what others may say. But life is about living! Going full throttle forward. Accomplishing, maximizing and unleashing our G-d given potential. If not you who? If not now when?

The Rebbe believes in the power of the individual. Often quoting Maimonides who states: Your one good deed can save the world! These are not flowery words. These are Torah words of truth and empowerment. Words which charge your battery and propel you to happily reach the greatest heights and success.

Let us wish our beloved Rebbe and Rebbetzin Mazel Tov! Lchayim to 80! May we all be blessed with happy hearts and truly utilize our talents, abilities and potential. May you speedily reach a new level of unprecedented success.

80 in Judaism is strength! You have the power!

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) One should know the route to the Heavenly Chambers, but actually it is not crucial. You only need the main thing - to help another wholeheartedly, with sensitivity. To have pleasure in doing a kindness to another.

2) The prophet Jeremiah in chapter 17 says: “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord and the Lord shall be his trust. For he shall be like a tree planted by the water and by a rivulet spreads its roots, and will not see when heat comes, and its leaves shall be green”.  When you are connected to the Tree of Life, the love of Torah, G-d and the unconditional love of your fellow Jew, then the heat and passions of temptations can never uproot you. Your tree will eternally produce delicious fruit.

3) Our loving Father in Heaven loves when we are kind to His children. You are the precious child of G-d so you deserve the life of a prince! Explore and discover the beauty and pleasure of your royal heritage. Nourish your body and your soul and you will successfully enjoy a life rich with meaning and happiness!
