Compassion Happiness & Renewal
Your compassion can change your future!
Your heart has two sides. The right side and the left side. The right side is the home of happiness. This is where a person feels true joy and happiness. This comes from living a life of goodness and meaning. A life as prescribed by the Torah.
The left side is the home of bitterness. This pain comes when the soul feels bitter and empty. A lifestyle void of goodness and meaning.
The Prophet Isaiah says “Tzion - Zion will be redeemed with justice and her captives will return with charity”.
The Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi explains in his Lekutei Torah -Devorim 2A- that the word “captives” is referring to the two sides of the heart. Because the hidden love which every Jew has for our Father In Heaven, as well as the bitterness of being distant from Him, are in a state of captivity.
The solution and remedy is charity. Because when you have compassion for a poor person and you help the person with charity, then G-d has compassion for you. Your compassion is rewarded and He compassionately fills our heart with His love and happiness.
Our compassion causes the healing of our heart and of our emotions.
May you be blessed with an abundance of happiness and healthy emotions. A life filled with goodness and kindness.
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The world is in a continuous state of renewal. Every moment, there is new Divine energy bringing life to our world. Tap into this energy and you will always feel young and energized. You have the power to always experience renewal.
2) Life is time which is utilized for good accomplishments. Wasted time cannot be brought back. Every day has it’s own mission and purpose. Maximize your time and you will feel happy and fulfilled.
3) Within the destruction of the Holy Temples, is the seed and birth of new life. Never despair. Our loving Father in Heaven is always ready to help you transform challenges into growth. If you are experiencing something painful, know that you have a new opportunity of greater success waiting for you.
