Motivation Peace & Happiness
Did you ever ask yourself: “does G-d really care about the details of my behavior”? “what is my true value”? “does my lifestyle matter to him ”?
The Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi in his Lekutei Torah - Matos 85A- explains why G-d loves the details of your lifestyle and cares about you and your behavior.
Like a father who wants his child to be motivated and grow up to be the best they can be, with elegance, grace and charm. For this reason the father is particular and protective of what the child can and can not do.
Like a beautiful diamond and a beautiful precious stone which you want to protect with extra layers of protection.
So too, does our loving Father In Heaven love you and He cares about each small detail of your behavior and lifestyle. He wants the best for you. Your actions are important to Him. He wants to help you maximize your potential, with your intelligence, grace and charm.
It is for this reason that the Jewish people are blessed with so many customs, enactments and Rabbinically instituted rules and precautions. Each detail is there in order to help you be the best you can be. To protect you from mistakes, blemish and inadequacy. To help you happily succeed.
You are loved beyond your imagination. You are being protected beyond your expectations. Your value is priceless. Nothing in the world is more dear and beloved to Him then you, the prince and princess. Your safety, happiness, success and charm are of first priority to your loving Father in Heaven.
Celebrate your true self! Appreciate your true value. Dispose of all your negative thinking. Your “father” is waiting to embrace you and to lovingly give you the hug of a lifetime! The love of eternity.
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Peace is the first priority. If you encounter a situation of divisiveness and quarrel, do whatever it takes to bring about peace and harmony. The anguish and energy of past mistakes should be used as a springboard to propel both parties to a better friendship. Do a favor for another Jew and G-d will bestow His favor upon you. You will be blessed with a happy and peaceful life.
2) The Shma Yisroel prayer is the declaration of faith which is felt and emanates from the depths of the heart of a Jew. In the prayer of Eishes Chayil -A Women of Valor- King Solomon states “Her Husband is known at the gates”. The Zohar explains that the word “gates” also refers to the “gates” of the heart. This is where your spark of Moshiach and your wisdom and intelligence shine from your heart like a beacon of light and illuminate your surroundings with the beauty of warmth, love and Torah meaning. Peace and pleasantness.
3) The Month of Menachem Av is jam-packed with the love of G-d to every Jew. Despite the destruction of both Holy Temples, hidden within the pain is the love of a father who is shielding and protecting His beloved child from harm. Redirecting the crushing devastation away from His child, on to stones and wood. Always dig deeper and you will discover His warm hug, love and protective embrace which belongs to you for eternity.
