Leadership Choices & Motivation

After flying across the globe to Central Asia, Alma Ata Kazakhstan is the long awaited destination. Hundreds of Chassidim traveled to honor the the Rebbe's father.

77 years have past since the horrific pain which the Rebbe’s parents suffered. Their only “crime”: Their being proud Jewish leaders!

They spent almost five years in the isolated bug-infested village of Chili Kazakhstan.

It is heartbreaking to read the memories of Rebbetzin Chana. The daily suffering, the sleepless nights. The tears which soaked the pages of her saintly husband’s book of Tehilim.

The superhuman dancing on Simchas Torah in their one room "home" with heroic and unwavering faith. Proudly celebrating the joy and honor of being a Jew. His esteemed wife Rebbetzin Chana recalls looking on with astonishment: from where does he draw such incredible strength?

Even the walk to the bakery for just a small ration of bread was an exhausting trek. The foot often sunk into the deep sticky mud or into the deep cold winter snow. Exhaustion, starvation and dehydration was common.

We are all forever indebted to the Rebbe’s parents. They gave us the greatest gift in all of history. A child who grew up to be the Jewish leader who revived the Jewish people after the unspeakable horrors of the Holocaust. A Rebbe with unconditional love for every Jew, who ensures that no Jew is forgotten.

Today, you are the front line soldier who carries the banner of the Rebbe and his holy parents. You are their child and grandchild.

Our mission is clear:

Moshiach is on His way! Life is a gift and you are a unique gift to the world. Maximize your potential ,unleash your talents. Rise above the clutter of petty nonsense. Celebrate your existence. Because without you and without your participation and accomplishments, we are all missing out.

The Rebbe asks each of us to honor his illustrious parents. To be a partner and donate in their honor. This is your personal  gift to your spiritual father and grandparents. You are their child. You have the opportunity  of putting a smile on their holy face.

The Rebbe promises that each person who will give charity in honor of his father, will be blessed and receive 500 times as much!

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) You have the power to restore life. To "resurrect the dead". Our souls are thirsting for spiritual nourishment. You can bring vibrancy and enthusiasm to your soul. Your compassion on your fellow Jew can create new vigor and energy.

2) When you rise higher, to new altitudes, then petty things don't bother you. They don't register on your radar. Immerse yourself in Chabad teachings and wisdom and you will enjoy the sweet taste of a life rich with meaning.

3) Everything in life has an inner and an outer dimension. Money is valuable when we recognize that money is only an instrument to facilitate goodness and kindness. True happiness comes from the inside. Don't focus on the superficial, focus on substance and you will enjoy every moment of your life.
