Laughter Pleasure & Peace
Have you seen a talking parrot? They are entertaining. The first time most people see a talking parrot they laugh and enjoy with pleasure and delight.
Our father Abraham named his son, Issac - Yitzchak, which means laughter. Abraham was empowering his son and future generations with the gift of laughter. To be resilient even in challenging situations. To be pioneers and leaders who persevere and transform challenges into pleasure, novelty and purpose.
The Kabbalist and Chassidus delve deeply into the age-old question: “why did G-d Create our world”. In Torah Or - Vayeitsei- the Alter Rebbe answers this question by using the analogy of a “talking bird”. It is the novelty of “a talking bird” which creates the laughter and pleasure. In your personal life story it is the novelty of your accomplishments and your overcoming challenges which create pleasure. Your success is part of the grand plan of Creation.
There is no novelty or surprise when a righteous person conducts themselves properly. The novelty is when an individual who struggles with proper behavior, succeeds in replacing negative behavior with positive behavior.
G-d created the world for His pleasure. He enjoys, laughs and has delight when we change our negative behaviors and improve our conduct. Every time we are victorious in our struggles, we make G-d smile. We bring the world closer to Moshiach.
The Alter Rebbe explains that “Shalom - Peace” is when two opponents and adversaries reconcile and come together in peace. This is the unique pleasure and novelty of peace. Resolving conflict, quarrels and friction gives G-d pleasure and laugher. Peace is the highest blessing.
Celebrate the opportunities of your struggles and imperfections. They are springboards and opportunities for growth, development and change, which give our loving Father in Heaven pleasure, laughter and joy. Enjoy every one of your victories.
Your victory and your self improvement give the world the purpose of it’s Creation!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Your one good deed of helping another is more precious then all wisdom.
2) The world includes the physical and the spiritual. Form and matter. Mussar teaches the vanity of the physical. Kabbalah teaches the beauty of the spiritual. Chabad Chassidus teaches the beauty in the harmony of both. The virtu of the spiritual and the beauty of refined physical. You have the key to this noble success.
3) You have a part of G-d inside of you. Every Mitzvah you do uncovers another layer of your inner beauty and G-dliness. You are a priceless beloved treasure. Discover and explore your deeper self and will you will reveal your true G-d given greatness. You were born to be a leader and inspire others. Get to know the real you!

אין חידוש או הפתעה כאשר צדיק מתנהל כראוי. החידוש הוא כאשר אדם שנאבק בהתנהגות נאותה, מצליח להחליף התנהגות שלילית בהתנהגות חיובית.
ה' ברא את העולם להנאתו. הוא נהנה, צוחק ויש לו עונג כשאנחנו משנים את ההתנהגויות השליליות שלנו ומשפרים את ההתנהלות שלנו. בכל פעם שאנחנו מנצחים במאבקים שלנו, אנחנו גורמים לאלוקים לחייך. אנחנו מקרבים את העולם למשיח.
