Transformations Angels & Hugs

Health and happiness are on the top of people’s list. As the famous Yiddish expression “A’bi Gezunt”. The most important thing is health. We pray for health and happiness. 

But life sometimes has it’s challenges. In Torah Or -Ki Sisa- the Alter Rebbe explains that when a Jew encounters challenges and hardships, when it seems like Heaven is exercising judgment of the left side, we should know that our loving Father In Heaven will elevate and hug the Jew. The challenges will cause and bring about a hug of love from G-d. A hug from the right side, a hug of infinite love and kindness. 

Our sages tell us that each morning the angels of heaven wait for the Jewish people to praise G-d and only after the Jew sings the praises, can the angels proceed to sing their praises to the Creator. The Alter Rebbe explains that this is because the angels know that the Jewish people are greater then them and the Jew deserves more credit than the angels. The Jew is the purpose of Creation. 

Angels have no temptations, struggles or hardships. Angels operate on autopilot. Their serving G-d is instinctive, robotic, without any free choice. But the Jew is a hero. The Jew triumphs and resiliently chooses to march to victory.  The Jew is focused on the end zone. The Jew transforms darkness into light, pain into joy, mistakes into springboards of goodness and kindness.   

The Jewish people always remain the loyal children of G-d. Children who enthusiastically honor the wishes of their Father In Heaven. When the Jew sings praises to G-d, it is infinitely more precious than the songs of the angels. Therefore, the angels must wait each day for the Jewish people to sing their praises first. 

The Alter Rebbe explains: If we see a loved one who may loose their balance and fall backwards, we run over and hug the person with our hands around their back in order to protect them, they shouldn't fall backwards. G-d loves every Jew and He wants to protect the Jew from falling spiritually backwards. So G-d gives us a hug of Torah and Mitzvahs to protect us from falling. Every Mitzvah is a hug. 

When a Jew returns to G-d and awakens the Jewish spark, the beauty and purity of the Jewish soul emerge and shine brightly. G-d considers this Jew a Ba’al Teshuva. A child who returned to their loving father. G-d gives this Jew a special gift, a special loving relationship with G-d. 

As King David says in Psalm 63: My soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You, in an arid and thirsty land, without water. As I saw You in the Sanctuary, [so do I long] to see Your strength and Your glory. 

This gives us great inspiration:

Know that you are G-d’s precious child. He truly loves you unconditionally. If you encounter a bump In the road of life, know that you are going to receive a Divine hug. You will be elevated. Never despair. Never loose hope. Transform challenges into springboards of growth and success. 

You are greater then the angels. The world is waiting for you to sing your beautiful song!

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) We begin a Blessing by saying: “Blessed are you Hashem Our G-d”. The presence of the life force and Divine light which G-d infuses into this world is hidden and concealed. It is only like the life force in a foot compared to the head. In Paradise, holiness is palpable and revealed. Nevertheless,  the Jew proudly proclaims: You Hashem are Our G-d.  You are our personal G-d. Not just the G-d of our fathers. We have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father.  As a Jew you are His beloved treasure. Celebrate your true riches, your Jewish identity. 

2) Everything in existence has a physical side and a spiritual side. The physical side is just the external façade. But the spiritual side is its true value and purpose. Moshe commanded us before his passing: ובחרת בחיים, choose life,  not the opposite. A deeper meaning in these words is to choose the life, soul and purpose of everything in existence and not to become caught up in the materialistic external façade. The vanity of the packaging and outside wrapper. 

Modern society often focuses and places the emphasis on fashion, glitz and superficial vanity. You have the power and opportunity to be smart and choose life. Moshiach is the purpose of existence. To discover and maximize the true Torah riches of life.  Choose life and you will be happy. 

3) The earth you walk on, has been waiting for you since the Six Days of Creation. All kinds of living creatures have stepped on it for all this time, but the earth beneath your feet is waiting for you to walk on it while discussing Torah. You personally can bring health, healing and redemption to the entire world. Your one good deed can tip the global scale of history. Celebrate the value of your true self. You are a gift to the world. The world needs you!

טרנספורמציות מלאכים וחיבוקים

בריאות ואושר נמצאים בראש רשימת האנשים. כביטוי היידיש המפורסם "אבי געזונט". הדבר החשוב ביותר הוא הבריאות. אנו מתפללים לבריאות ואושר.

אבל בחיים יש לפעמים אתגרים. בתורה אור -כי תשא- מסביר אדמו״ר הזקן שכאשר יהודי נתקל באתגרים וקשיים, כשנדמה שמן השמים מפעילים צד הגבורה ושמאל, עלינו לדעת שאבינו שבשמים ירים וינשא ויחבק את היהודי. האתגרים יגרמו ויביאו לחיבוק של אהבה מה'. חיבוק מצד ימין, חיבוק של אהבה וחסד אינסופיים.

חכמינו אומרים לנו שבכל בוקר מחכים מלאכי השרת לעם היהודי שיהללו את ה' ורק לאחר שהיהודי שר את השירים ותשבחות לבורא העולם, רק אז יכולים המלאכים לשיר לבורא. אדמו"ר הזקן  מסביר שזה בגלל שהמלאכים יודעים שהעם היהודי גדול וקדוש מהם וליהודי מגיע יותר קרדיט מהמלאכים. היהודי הוא תכלית כוונת הבריאה.

למלאכים אין פיתויים מוסריים, מאבקים או קשיים. מלאכים פועלים באופן אוטומטי. הם משבחים ומשרתים את ה' באופן אינסטינקטיבי ללא כל בחירה חופשית. אבל היהודי הוא גיבור. היהודי מנצח ובוחר בחוסן ובמרץ לצעוד לניצחון. היהודי מתמקד במטרה. היהודי הופך חושך לאור, כאב לשמחה, טעויות לקרש קפיצה של טוב וחסד.

העם היהודי תמיד נשאר ילדיו הנאמנים של ה'. ילדים שמכבדים בהתלהבות את משאלות אביהם שבשמיים. כשהיהודי שר לאלוקים, זה יקר לאין שיעור משירי המלאכים. לכן, על המלאכים להמתין בכל יום עד שהעם היהודי ישיר תחילה את תהילותיהם

אם אנו רואים אדם שעלול לאבד את שיווי המשקל וליפול לאחור, אנו מחבקים את האדם עם הידיים סביב הגב שלו כדי להגן עליו כדי לא ליפול לאחור. אבינו שבשמיים אוהב כל יהודי והוא רוצה להגן על היהודי מפני נפילה רוחנית לאחור. אז ה' נותן לנו חיבוק של תורה ומצוות כדי להגן עלינו מנפילה. כל מצווה היא חיבוק.

כשיהודי חוזר בתשובה לאלוקים ומעיר את הניצוץ היהודי, אזי היופי והטהרה של הנשמה היהודית בוקעים ומאירים באור. ה' רואה ביהודי זה בעל תשובה. ילד שחזר לאביו. ה' נותן ליהודי הזה מתנה מיוחדת, יחסי אהבה מיוחדים עם ה'.

כפי שאומר דוד המלך בתהילים ס״ג: צמאה לך נפשי, כמה לך בשרי. בארץ ציה ועיף בלי מים.  כן בקודש חזיתיך (כפי שראיתי אותך במקדש, כך אני משתוקק) לראות עוזך וכבודך.

זה נותן לנו השראה וחיזוק:

דע שאתה ילדו היקר של אלוקים. הוא באמת אוהב אותך ללא תנאים. אם אתה נתקל בקושי בדרך החיים, דע שאתה הולך לקבל חיבוק אלוקי. אתה תהיה מרומם. לעולם אל תתייאש. לעולם אל תאבד תקווה. הפוך אתגרים לקרש קפיצה של צמיחה והצלחה. הנך נסיך ומגיע לך כל הברכות. כל ישראל בני מלכים!

אתה גדול יותר מהמלאכים. העולם מחכה שתשיר את השיר היפה שלך!

3 מסרים המבוססים על תורת הרבי:

1) אנו מתחילים ברכה באמירה: "ברוך אתה ה' אלוקינו". נוכחותו של ה' בעולם הזה נסתרת ומצומצמת. זה רק כמו רגל בהשוואה לראש. בגן עדן, הקדושה מורגשת ומתגלה. אף על פי כן, היהודי מכריז בגאווה: אתה ה' אלוקינו. אתה האלוקים האישי שלנו. לא רק אלוקי אבותינו. יש לנו קשר אישי עם אבינו שבשמים. כיהודי, אתה האוצר האהוב שלו. חגוג את העושר האמיתי שלך, את הזהות היהודית שלך. 

2) לכל דבר שקיים יש צד פיזי וצד רוחני. הצד הפיזי הוא רק החזית החיצונית. אבל הצד הרוחני הוא ערכו ותכליתו האמיתיים. משה רבנו ציווה עלינו לפני פטירתו: ובחרת בחיים, לא להיפך. משמעות עמוקה יותר במילים אלו היא לבחור את החיים, הנשמה והתכלית של כל מה שקיים ולא להיקלע ולהיתפס לחזית החיצונית החומרנית. ההבל של האריזה והעטיפה החיצונית.

החברה המודרנית מרבה להתמקד על החיצוניות ושמה דגש על אופנה, נצנצים ויהירות שטחית. יש לך את הכוח וההזדמנות להיות חכם ולבחור בחיים. ביאת המשיח הוא תכלית הקיום. לגלות ולמקסם את עושר החיים התורני האמיתי. בחר בחיים ותהיה מאושר.

3) האדמה שאתה הולך עליה, מחכה לך מאז ששת ימי הבריאה. כל מיני יצורים חיים דרכו עליו במשך כל הזמן הזה, אבל האדמה מתחת לרגליך ממתינה שאתה תלך עליה תוך כדי שהנך מדבר דברי תורה. אתה באופן אישי יכול להביא בריאות, ריפוי וגאולה לעולם כולו. המעשה הטוב היחיד שלך יכול להטות ולהכריע את קנה המידה העולמי של ההיסטוריה. תחגוג את הערך של האני האמיתי שלך. הנך מתנה לעולם. העולם צריך אותך!
