Transformations Athletes & Treasures

Joy and happiness are on the top of life’s shopping list. Sometimes a key to successfully achieving this goal is by transforming our own inner self and healing our old wounds. Modern successful therapy helps people to free themselves from past traumas and pain, including possible hurtful childhood events. 

In Likutei Torah -Shmini- the Alter Rebbe explains:

Well-water is found deep in the ground, covered with earth, stones and rocks. We need to dig deep to uncover the hidden 

life-saving wellsprings of water. Digging just a few shovels deep is insufficient. With persistency and consistent work we are guaranteed to reach and reveal the refreshing waters. 

Life is a most precious gift. At birth you arrived with a part of G-d within you. חלק אלוקה ממעל ממש. In order to access one’s full potential, one must dig deep within themselves. It’s not always easy, there may be emotional stones and rocks which are blocking the way. But when a person is focused and determined, they are guaranteed to succeed.  

Our sages tell us that we will enjoy a festive gourmet meal with special exquisite wine and the meat of the ox -שור הבר- when Moshiach comes. The ox represents a stubborn and powerful personality. But when you transform the ox and harness it’s power and energy, then we can produce entire fields of food for the benefit of all of humanity. 

A person may have old  traumas from childhood. Survival mode may have caused being stubborn like an ox. But when we harness the ox within us, when we transform the stubborn ox personality into a positive force for goodness and kindness, then we can successfully plow entire fields. We can heal our own wounds and the pains of the world. 

This gives us motivation and inspiration:

If you encounter rocks and boulders in the path of life, don’t be discouraged. You have the capability to dig up the rocks and uncover the wellsprings and the riches hidden below. You can choose to either allow the boulders to block your journey, or you can choose to climb to the top of the boulders and reach new heights. 

Our forefather Yitzchok taught us that a happy successful life requires the art of digging wells in order to enjoy fresh waters. The riches are hidden beneath the challenges. That’s where the treasures of life, peace and reconciliation are hidden. The faster we dig, the faster we will uncover the Moshiach treasures of peace, abundance and healing.

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) The name of our forefather Yitzchak means to laugh. You have the power to transform dark situations into laughter. Never give up hope. Modern science shows us how one atom can have a nuclear effect. Transform your atoms into positive forces of good. Your one good deed can truly propel you to the greatest heights, to true inner tranquility. You can bring peace, healing and redemption to the entire world. 

2) People sometimes don’t realize that living in peace is actually enjoyable and sweet.  Old fashioned mentality is to go to war, destroy and conquer. A Moshiach mentality is to free yourself from all negativity and allow yourself the freedom to enjoy a life based on the Torah which is the Divine blueprint of universal success, authored by the Creator of the Universe. 

Live a life of Torah values and you are guaranteed to enjoy a happier life. One Mitzvah can change and transform your life. 

3) When an athlete, a sprinter, starts running they may bend their knee and take a step backwards in order to create momentum. When one wants to jump over a desk which is right in front of them, they may take a few steps back in order to create speed and momentum enabling them to jump high. 

Everything in life is by Personal Divine Providence. If one encounters a setback, the smart thing to do is to use it at a springboard to propel them to greater heights. You are a winner. You were born to succeed and win!

החיים הם מתנה יקרת ערך. בלידה הגעת עם חלק מה' בתוכך. נשמה אלוקית. על מנת לגשת למלוא הפוטנציאל של האדם, אדם חייב לחפור עמוק בתוך עצמו. זה לא תמיד קל, ייתכנו אבנים וסלעים רגשיים שחוסמים את הדרך. אבל כשאדם ממוקד ונחוש, מובטח לו שיצליח.

חכמינו אומרים לנו כי בבוא המשיח נהנה מארוחת גורמה חגיגית עם יין מיוחד ובשר שור הבר.  השור מייצג אישיות עקשנית, קשה ועוצמתית. אבל כאשר אתה משנה את השור ורותם את הכוח והאנרגיה שלו אז אנחנו יכולים לייצר שדות שלמים של מזון לטובת האנושות כולה.

לאדם עלולות להיות טראומות הרסניות ישנות מילדות. ייתכן שמצב הישרדות גרם להיות עקשן כמו שור. אבל כאשר אנו רותמים את השור בתוכנו, כאשר אנו הופכים את אישיות השור העיקשת לכוח חיובי וטוב אז נוכל לחרוש שדות שלמים בהצלחה. אנחנו יכולים לרפא את הפצעים שלנו ואת כאבי העולם.

זה נותן לנו מוטיבציה והשראה:

אם נתקלים בסלעים בנתיב החיים, אסור להתייאש. יש לך את היכולת לחפור את הסלעים ולגלות את המעיינות והמים המתוקים  ואת העושר החבוי מתחת. אתה יכול לבחור לאפשר לסלעים לחסום את המסע שלך, או שאתה יכול לבחור לטפס מעל הבולדרים ולהגיע לגבהים חדשים.

3 מסרים המבוססים על תורת הרבי:

1) יצחק פירושו לצחוק. יש לך את הכוח להפוך מצבים אפלים לצחוק. לעולם אל תאבד תקווה. המדע המודרני מראה לנו כיצד לאטום אחד יכול להיות השפעה גרעינית. הפוך את האטומים שלך לכוחות חיוביים של טוב. המעשה הטוב האחד שלך יכול באמת להניע אותך לגבהים הגדולים ביותר, לשקט פנימי אמיתי. אתה יכול להביא שלום, ריפוי וגאולה לעולם כולו.

3) כאשר ספורטאי או אצן מתחיל לרוץ לפעמים כופפים את הברך ועושים צעד אחורה על מנת ליצור מומנטום. כשרוצים לקפוץ מעל שולחן שנמצא ממש לפנינו, אפשר לקחת כמה צעדים אחורה על מנת ליצור מהירות ומומנטום שיאפשרו לקפוץ גבוה.

הכל בחיים הוא על ידי השגחה אלוקית אישית. אם נתקלים בנסיגה, הדבר החכם לעשות הוא להשתמש בו כמו קרש קפיצה כדי להניע עצמנו לגבהים גדולים יותר. אתה מנצח. נולדת להצליח ולנצח!
