Marriage Stubbornness & Jewish-Guilt

Modern global markets depend greatly on the supply of energy. Nearly everything we use in modern times requires energy. Science has proven that all of physical matter is energy. The Ba'al Shem Tov teaches that the world is continuously being Created with new Divine energy.

The name of the Creator has unlimited energy. Every Jew has this unlimited energy within them. The only reason why a Jew is capeble of sin, which violates the holiness of this energy, is because "A Jew thinks that despite the sin He is still remains in his original state of Jewishness". When Moshiach comes, this energy will be revealed within every Jew. We will feel it.

The Alter Rebbe in Lekutei Torah -Re'ei- explains, that  this is also the reason for Jewish-guilt. A Jew "naturally" feels the truth and holiness of their Divine connection. No Jew wants to separate from this truth and holiness. Therefore a sinning Jew is filled with regrets for the negative past behavior. There is a deep Divine consciousness in every Jew and an unbreakable love and connection with our Father in Heaven.

Moshe Rabeinu, our first leader, pleads with G-d to forgive the Jewish people. Moshe uses the following logic: "Forgive them "Because" they are a stubborn stiff-necked nation".  But why should G-d forgive them just because they are stubborn"?

The Alter Rebbe in Lekutei explains, that Moshe was saying that Jews are stubbornly connected to G-d. Even if a Jew sinned, the Jew continues to be "stiff-necked" and wants to remain connected to Hashem. Moshe was giving the Jewish people a compliment, not an insult. Every Jew stubbornly desires the eternal loving connection and marriage of G-d and the Jew.

This sense of connection is rooted in "Chochmoh" חכמה שבנפש, the wisdom of the soul. This is a higher wisdom of knowing the truth and having self-submission and "Bittul". It's not about being focused on  "me". It's about focusing on G-d. It is the small flame of חכמה שבנפש, the point of truth in the center of our spiritual palace, נקודה בהיכליה, which always shines brightly with purity and honesty.

The flame is metaphorically called the masculine light and the palace is the feminine design and development of the royal palace. We require the partnership, love and dignity of both energies, the masculine and the feminine. Both energies together produce the beautiful light which shines brightly and majestically in our personal Royal Palace. Our personal Temple and Divine Sanctuary.

A candle without a flame, or a flame without a candle, are both a waste. Meaningless. We must have the harmony and peace of both, the candle and the flame in order to light up the darkness and to shine brightly, illuminating the world. This is the beauty of husband and wife in harmony. G-d and the Jew. In Kabbalah refers to this as "two friends who never separate".

In the words of the moving Friday Night Shabbat prayer which we sing in Synagogues around the world and authored by the holy Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Ben Reb Moshe Haleivi Elkabatz of Tsfas Israel circa 1570: "Come my Beloved to greet the Bride, let us welcome the beautiful Queen of Shabbos". לכה דודי לקראת כלה פני שבת נקבלה.

This gives us motivation and inspiration:

You are a holy soul, you are the beautiful Queen of Shabbos. You shine with the unlimited light of G-d. Keep your candle shining brightly. Like the purity of the miraculous Chanukah oil, you will never be contaminated. You are forever pure and holy.

Celebrate and rejoice with the beautiful gifts which G-d gave you. Remember you were chosen to illuminate the royal and majestic palace of Creation.

Never define yourself by your past mistakes. Your soul never agreed to any sin. You are the beloved Queen of G-d. Utilize your eternal and unlimited energies. The world is waiting for you to light your candle and sing the song of eternal love and marriage. The light and joy of Moshiach.

Strike your match and the world will be happy and sing!

3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:

1) The Mitzvah of Family Purity, a marriage of holiness and dignity, fills the Jewish home with happiness and blessings. Encourage and inspire Jewish couples to live with the laws of Mikveh. It brings unlimited blessings and joy for generations.

Peace between husband and wife, effects the relationship between G-d and His Queen - the Jewish people. Children need a wholesome loving home. Nobody has the right to cruelly and narcissistically rob children from the love they need of both parents.

2) When you remember how much our loving Father in Heaven loves every Jew, you will always honor, love  and respect every Jew unconditionally. Nobody has any right to judge a fellow Jew. The pupil of G-d's eye. G-d commanded us to "Love your fellow Jew as yourself". Love and be kind to your fellow Jew and G-d will  love you and be kind to you.

3) Nothing hurts G-d more then the pain of His beloved children. The Jewish people. Before the new school year make sure that every Jewish child receives a proper Jewish education.

Take time every day to help fellow Jews. Nothing is more important then saving the life of a fellow Jew, physically or spiritually. Loving every Jew is something you should feel in your heart.
