Parenting Passion & Positivity
Modern society struggles with education. The young generation may seem at times as overly indulging in personal pleasure and selfish pursuits. Many contemporary educators and parents are searching for tools and ideas how to educate the young generation.
In Lekutei Torah - Devorim- the Alter Rebbe gives us practical tools how to appreciate every moment of life. When a student realizes the value, gift and opportunity of every moment of life then it is easier to focus on meaningful priorities.
The Alter Rebbe explains how to appreciate every good deed and every Mitzvah which we do in this world. Every good deed creates eternal wealth and riches. It is like owning and filling up a treasure box without seeing yet the fortune inside. Although we can’t access most of the riches at the moment, nevertheless, we are happy that we own the treasure box because we know that we will have the opportunity to open the treasure box and enjoy the wealth we accumulated.
During life, a person accumulates thru Torah and Mitzvahs, eternal riches. When a soul returns to Heaven after 120, it is rewarded and it is given the key to their own treasure box. The person is able to eternally enjoy the pleasures and riches from each and every good deed. Nothing is forgotten. Every good deed, every moment of Torah study, is kept in each person’s personal treasure box. Eternal joy and eternal happiness.
In the holy prayer of Shma Yisroel, we say that we love G-d with all our heart and soul and the words of the Torah should be in our heart, we should instill them in our children. When we recognize and appreciate that each Mitzvah connects us with a loving eternal bond to the essence of G-d, then we develop a passion and desire to maximize our every moment of life. With positivity, enthusiasm and love, we can successfully educate and instill a love of Judaism in the hearts of the young generation.
When a child is educated with love, joy and a passion for Judaism, then the child feels in their heart, the treasures and beauty of Jewish heritage, Jewish wisdom and Jewish tradition. The child looks forward to growing up and being a proud Jew. To proudly carry the torch and banner of Judaism, with joy, passion and enthusiasm.
Once the soul reaches Paradise after 120, as well as after Moshiach comes, every person will enjoy the wealth, pleasures and rewards of their own treasure box. However, the person can no longer earn new spiritual wealth. Only while a person is alive in our physical world, can they easily earn more Mitzvah wealth, and transform past mistakes into great wealth thru Teshuva.
Teshuva means, does not mean repenting. Teshuva means, returning to our loving Father in Heaven. To reconnect our beautiful relationship with G-d. Teshuva is best accomplished when done with joy and happiness. A smart person sees and focuses on the beauty of Teshuva and the eternal pleasure of the relationship. You can enjoy a meaningful physical life, full of sweetness, good deeds and Torah study.
You can easily become spiritually rich with joy and pleasure!
This gives us motivation and inspiration:
Life is a gift, filled with countless opportunities for each of us to fill our treasure box with spiritual wealth and riches. Every Mitzvah is a diamond. A Divine connection. Every moment of Torah study is priceless. Judaism is not a burden, Judaism is a precious gift and opportunity to become eternally wealthy and eternally connected. Moshiach will Imminently arrive and the window of opportunity will close. The time is now. Cash in your opportunities and accumulate eternal riches.
Be a leader and lovingly share the wisdom of 3300 years of Jewish wisdom, heritage and tradition with the young generation. If you know the Alef Bet then share the Alef Bet of Judaism. Share whatever you know. There is no greater pleasure in the world than a life filled with good deeds and Torah study. Judaism infused with Chabad teachings, transform ordinary life into an extraordinary meaningful journey of eternal pleasure, passion and joy.
Your eternal happiness and future generations are in your hands!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The Shabbos before Tisha B’av is called Shabbos Chazon. A vision. The Shabbos when the soul of every Jew sees the future, the beautiful third Holy Temple. This empowers every Jew to feel a special love for the third Temple. The place on earth where G-d connects to the physical world. Each of us has a beautiful holy Temple inside of our hearts and body. Enjoy decorating your personal Temple.
2) A person has two souls and personalities. One is a holy persona, the other one is impure. A person has free choice and can choose to follow either one . You can transform the negative inclination into positive. This is why we say in the holy Shma Yisroel Prayer: “you shall love Hashem your G-d with all your heart”. Meaning, both, the good soul and the negative impure inclination.
The Divine soul causes us to choose and celebrate our special Divine relationship. The second soul causes us to realize how sad it is to be far away our loving Father in Heaven. Harmonize the power of both of your souls for the good and you will enjoy a life filled with happiness and blessings.
3) In our daily prayers we bow our head and say the prayer of Modim. We acknowledge that G-d’s perspective is correct. Because His existence is the only true existence and everything else depends exclusively on Him, on His kindness, benevolence and graciousness. Every Jew is the beloved child of our loving Father in Heaven. Never allow anybody to insult, denigrate or hurt any Jew. We owe it every Jew to love them with unconditional love. This will bring you unlimited blessings of joy and happiness.
