Growth Challenges & Motivation
The story of the Flood of Noach is one of the most famous Biblical stories. Noach and his family, together with all the animals, reptiles and birds of the world, lived together in one Ark. Miraculously, they all survived the historic Flood. In our times, the rainbow reminds us of the story and lesson of the Flood.
In Lekutei Torah -Noach- The Alter Rebbe elaborates on the words of King Solomon “Powerful waters can not extinguish the love of a Jew to G-d”.
The burden, pressuring waters and worries of making a livelihood, business etc. can cause challenges to a Jew. It can cause turbulence in our observance of Judaism. But a Jew knows that nothing can weaken our love and connection to G-d. A Jew is resilient, persistent and victorious.
The pressures and worries of life cause our Divine soul to have a better, deeper and stronger relationship with our Father in Heaven. As a result of our soul’s struggles to overcome the challenges, our Divine soul successfully reaches new heights of love and commitment to our Heavenly Father. The challenges can be transformed into springboards for new success.

Our Animal soul is like an ox. It is stronger then us. When we harness and use the “ox energy” and we channel it for positive use, self transformation and purification, then we can accomplish the impossible. Darkness causes us to appreciate light even more. We can turn darkness into light, reach the infinite and accomplish the impossible.
The Hebrew name for Ark is Teiva, which also means “word”. Words of Prayer. Words of studying Torah.
The Ark of Noach represents the Ark of Prayer and Torah. With every word of Prayer and Torah a Jew builds a new Ark which shields and protects the person from all storms and temptations. One Mitzvah, one good deed in this world, elevates our soul to a higher level then all of Paradise and all of the world to come. The essence of G-d is found only in the Torah and Mitzvah we do in this world.
Paradoxically, it is the rising waters of the Flood, which raise the Ark even higher. The Flood waters raise the person and the Prayer, to unprecedented heights of success, love of Judaism and Jewish pride.

We can transform mistakes into positivity, pain into pleasure, hatred into love, separation into unity. A life of meaningful joy, pleasure and celebration.
This gives us motivation and inspiration:
You have unlimited potential to reach new heights. Build your own Ark of Prayer. Every word of your prayers becomes a holy Ark for your own protection. You can unleash powerful energy with which you can transform challenges into a force of unprecedented positivity. It can propel you to new levels of success.
Much of the world is Inundated with all types of temptations and challenges. Perhaps today more than ever, we need the protection of a Kosher Ark. We can rise above it all. We can persevere and emerge greater and better. No waters in the world can extinguish the love between a Jew and our loving Father in Heaven!
Celebrate, maximize and enjoy the true you!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) Challenges and difficulties should be used as opportunities of growth. If one experiences negative energy, pain or difficulty, we must focus on channeling the energy into positive momentum. A springboard to reach new heights. New success and new goals of accomplishments.
Life has purpose. Every moment of life has rich meaning. Life is a beautiful gift from G-d. Every moment demands new growth and progress.

When facing challenges, asking “what is going to be” is not a Jewish way. A Jew asks “what are we going to do”. Be courageous and make a bold plan of action and you will merit to see G-d’s blessings and success.
2) We have a choice. We can either focus on the negative and the pain, or we can focus on the blessings of the Rebbe and trust in G-d that the blessings will certainly be fulfilled. Be smart and maximize every moment of your time.
Noach was the only person in the world who lived a righteous life in his generation. The entire rest of the world was corrupt. Yet Noach built a new world with just his family. Never despair or feel lonely. Learn from Noach not to be afraid, never give up and have the courage to do the right thing.
You were chosen to be born for a reason. Your life is priceless and meaningful. Your good deeds are needed to complete the cosmic plan of creation. Moshiach.

3) After Simchas Torah it is customary to announce “And Jacob Went On His Way”. Jacob represents the Jew who needs to fight against Eisav and the temptations of the world. Be like Jacob, a proud courageous Jew. Then you will become a “walking” Jew. Not stagnation.
Your personal success is achieved by going “His Way”. Each person has their own unique mission. Go proudly and happily on your mission. March triumphantly to your victory. G-d enjoys the details. Every little detail is a gift of joy to G-d. Focus on your personal mission and G-d will bless you and He will fill your heart with happiness.
Celebrate Hakhel! Gather Jews together when ever possible and rejoice and celebrate as Jews!
