Marriage Jews & Happinesss
For thousands of years, thinkers and philosophers have asked the question, what is the purpose of life. Judaism is unique in it’s approach, answer and philosophy regarding the purpose of our existence.
In Torah Or -Mishpotim- the Alter Rebbe quotes the Biblical verse “ועבדתם את ה׳ אלוקיכם” which means “you shall serve Hashem your G-d”. The Alter Rebbe asks: Does G-d need our work? Does He lack anything?
The Alter Rebbe explains that our “work” is not to give G-d something which He is missing or needs. Our “work” is about serving G-d by internalizing on our own personal level that Hashem is our personal G-d.
The G-d of transcendence, higher then nature, should be ingrained in our heart and mind, into our physical reality. The holy name of Havaya should be anchored in our thoughts and in our soul. It should find expression in our “natural” life. Our marriage and unity with G-d should permeate our entire existence. A faithful royal marriage.

No. We are not giving G-d anything He lacks. We serve Him by focusing and recognizig that the Creator “Havaya” who is above time and space, lowers Himself down to be our very own personal G-d. Our spouse. We harmonize all of our existence with the true reality of our Divine marriage. Fusing Heaven abd Earth. Spiritual and Physical.
Making G-d our very own personal realty, a loyal marriage, without any foreign existence, is the key foundation to a happy life.
This gives us motivation and inspiration:
If we want true happiness we must use the gift of our mind by focusing, understanding and internalizing the truth. Connecting our Chabad - intelligence with the true source of all existence. The more we unite and perfect our Divine marriage and connect with the truth, the happier we are.
The same is true in human relationships. True happiness is when there is no “outsider” in the relationship. It is an exclusive relationship. An eternal connection between two people who are committed and loyal to each other. No foreign people or thoughts. Nobody else is allowed into the unique relationship.
A spiritual “miscarriage” is when one has a spiritual “emotional high” which then collapses. The way to prevent this is to ensure that our emotions are the product of our mind. Chabad emotions. By focusing and anchoring our thoughts and by ensuring that we are always faithful and connected with our loving Father in Heaven.
Prayer is an ideal time to focus and internalize our marriage and unity with our beloved Divine Creator.

Maximize the gift of your mind. Happily celebrate and connect to the truth of your marriage with G-d!
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The Torah tells us that G-d will bless the Jewish people and “fill” your days. Even if a person wasted their past time, nevertheless by transforming one’s life and committing to a proper future, G-d will “fill” the empty wasted past days with meaning. Maximize every moment of your time for good purposes and G-d will retroactively and miraculously “fill” your empty past with meaning.
2) The purpose of Creation is to fulfil the “Desire” of G-d to make a home for Him in our low physical world. Since creation is not rooted in logic but rather in “a desire“ therefore we must totally remove our ego. Because if we are arrogant about our accomplishments, we are demonstrating that our life is based on logical achievement. Our logic contradicts the “desire“ of G-d which transcends any logic whatsoever.
3) The Jewish people are the apple of G-d’s eye. All of creation is exclusively for the Jew. Even our mission to bring down Divine presence into our physical world is also for the purpose of elevating the Jew. Love and respect every Jew. Every Jew is the holiest and most precious of all of existence.
