Embracing Focus & Pleasure
Sweetness is a pleasure. In Jewish tradition we wish each other “A Sweet Year”. Sweetness is not only food, sweetness is also the quality of life. Ironically sometimes we first experience friction before we arrive to a sweet resolution and reconciliation.
In Lekutei Torah -Acharei- the Alter Rebbe explains the idea of Teshuva, returning to our Father in Heaven. The Alter Rebbe asks: since G-d is everywhere, how can one be distant? How can you return if you never left?
The Alter Rebbe explains the process of Teshuva - Returning by using an analogy of two people standing back to back of each other. Although they are standing together, they are as far apart of each other as possible. But all that is needed, is for them to turn around and face each other.
They do not need to change location. They just need to turn around and face each other, face-to-face, not back to back.
They do not need to change location. They just need to turn around and face each other, face-to-face, not back to back.
G-d is always with us. All we have to do is “turn around”. It’s not about a new location. It is about a renewed heartfelt relationship.
In life, all we need to do to have sweet, peaceful and happy relationships, is to face each other face to face. Heart to heart. It is right in front of us. We just need to embrace each other with a full heart.
Don’t be stubbornly stuck in the negetive of the past. Let go of the past and focus on a heartfelt, sweet and happy future.

Don’t be stubbornly stuck in the negetive of the past. Let go of the past and focus on a heartfelt, sweet and happy future.
This gives us motivation and inspiration:
We can easily all enjoy a sweeter and happier life. All we need to do is to focus on our connections. When our heart is in the right direction then everything is sweeter and better.
In the world today, so many people, especially young people, are hurting because of challenges in all types of relationships. We must rise higher and inspire people to just turn around and face each other. Heart to heart. Not back to back. This seemingly simple insight can bring joy and happiness to countless people around the world.
Paradoxically, peace is achieved when there is friction. Peace by definition means that there was opposition and then a peaceful reconciliation. The world is ready for peace. The Rebbe publicized that Moshiach Is On His Way! A world of peace between all of humanity, filled with the knowledge of the Creator.
The greatest joy and happiness is the result of heartfelt reconciliation. To return. Let’s focus our heart in the right direction. Physically and spiritually and we will eternally enjoy the sweetness of life.
3 messages based on the teachings of the Rebbe:
1) The mind is a gift. By focusing and internalizing the greatness of the Creator and how everything we have comes from our loving Father in Heaven, we enjoy a life of purpose and meaning. Chabad Chassidus is the gift we need to truly enjoy life.
2) The first commandment is to “know” the Creator. To immerse our mind in the origin of all of existence, the eternal primary existence of G-d. We are blessed to live within the reality of the Divine presence. We are never alone. The love and holiness of the Creator is always with us and in us.
3) Taking the high road, jumping over all obstacles, is not just an option, it is the smart way to go. לכתחילה אריבער. When you lower yourself to struggle with unclean forces and negativity, then you automatically become unclean. But when you take the high road, then you transcend the negative and you arrive quickly to your desired goal and destination with dignity, joy and pleasure.
