Candle Lighting Friday June 30 - Tammuz 11 Metro New York 8:13pm Dedicated In Honor of The 96th Liberation Anniversary of The Previous Rebbe From Russian Jail & Exile 12-13 Tammuz 1927 Freedom Relationships & Happiness Freedom is one of the deepest desires of a person. When freedom is taken from a person it can break the spirit of a person.  In 1927 the Previous Rebbe fearlessly risked his life to save and preserve Torah Judaism in the former Soviet Union. On the 3rd day of Tamuz he was miraculously saved from execution. Nine days later, on the 12th day of Tammuz while he was in his exile city of Kostrama, the Previous Rebbe was notified that he is miraculously totally freed from the 3 year sentence of exile.
